Titans had invaded the walls once again. The Civilians were evacuated inside Wall Sina, humanity's final barrier against the enemy. Now was the time to fight for their lives....no, for the future of humankind. For the fate of this very battle depended on it.

Kiyomi was fighting like she never had before. She killed every Titan as easily as an Ackerman would at bringing down the fowl monsters. She sliced and she sliced out each and every Titan's nape she came face to face with.

If she wished to live another day with Armin, Eren, and Mikasa she must fight. And if she wishes to tell Armin her true feelings that she's kept secret deep inside her chest for so long, she mustn't give up nor give in to the fear.

So she continued to fight, she continued to bring down the demonic Titans, and she abandoned all fear and focused everything into killing as many Titans she humanly could. Because with each Titan she brings down, many lives were saved.

Death was all around her. Many comrades she once knew, dying. It was the same scenes in each and every battle she was forced to fight. She was honestly sick of it, seeing the same thing over and over. It was painful. But if she doesn't fight, the nightmare will never end. She she continued to fight til her last breath.

The sight of Kiyomi as she massacred the Titans was beautiful to say to the least. Well, ignoring the blood, her style was elegant and she was a natural at what she did. She was like a powerful and beautiful angel who fell down from heaven to wipe out the demons that threatened to harm her children. So she must protect them with all her might.

But no matter how strong or brave you are, everything has an end. And so does human lives, no matter how skilled you are. A 20 meter high Titan crashes down upon a building, bringing it down with it. Kiyomi happened to be flying past this building, the same moment it was collapsing towards her direction. She lets out a horrified scream as it broke her wings, and she fell with it.

Armin's ears perked upon hearing that scream. That voice...he knew it all too well. He shouts the name of the one he recognized to which the voice belonged to. He spots her fallen with rumble fallen over her. He swoops down, and gets down on his knees, by her side. He takes her trembling hand into his and he cries her name in absolute fear. This wasn't what was supposed to happen.

"A-A-A-Armin..." The voice shook and rattled along with a sobbing crack, threatening to break through. Armin shushes her with a gentle and soothing voice. He promised her that he would break her free.

Armin begins to attempt to lift the heavy rubble off of her, but it doesn't do much good. It barely even lifts a muscle off of her. For the first time ever, Armin curses under his breath, feeling quite hopeless when it came to freeing her. What's more, there was a sharp ruble piece stabbed into her stomach. So releases her from the rubble and the sharp pain that was pierced through her would be difficult to do if he intended for her to survive.

Armin curses under his breath once again, uncertain of what to do, and too terrified to try anything that might harm or wound her worst. While Armin was at a loss of what to do, Jean arrives rushing forth. "Kiyomi!!" he shouts.

Armin jerks his head over to spot Jean. "J-Jean!" stuttered Armin. "The hell happened?!" Jean shouted. "You mean....you seriously need an explanation?!" Armin spat in disbelief. Was his ears listening to Jean correctly? Did he literally just asked....What just happened?!!

"S-Sorry, forget it! Shit, how do you suppose we free her...?" Jean questions. "Well...im not strong enough to lift the rubble off from her, and I'm afraid of trying anything that may cause too much damage..." Armin shares his concern with Jean who nods in understanding.

"A-Am I going to die...?" Kiyomi whimped. You could tell from her voice that just speaking those very few words was difficult for her, seeing the condition that she was in. "D-Don't be silly, Kiyomi. Y-your not going to die. Quit joking." Jean laughed. But his expression held anything but humor. The look fixed on Jean's face was a serious and terrified gaze.

He wants to save her along with Armin. Jean refuses to lose yet another friend dear to him. He can't allow it. Especially Kiyomi. Both Jean and Armin has know her since their 104th Cadet Trainee years. It would be a tragedy if they were to lose her now. Especially since the truth behind the Titans and their origins was so close within reach.

"Well we can't just do nothing. We have to try something, Armin. Waiting around and worrying won't save her life." Jean turns to Armin with a stern look painted across his face. Armin nervously nods before taking a gulp, feeling quite nervous. He didn't want to lose Kiyomi any more than Jean did. But...

"U-U-Um...A-Armin...t-there's something I've been wanting to t-tell you....for a l-long time." Kiyomi whispered, wincing at each word and letter she uttered out. "You can tell Armin once we free you." Jean says, but its not certain if when they do free her, if she will survive from blood loss or not.

"Jean, quiet!" Armin shushes Jean coldly. If she had something to say, it was better to have her say it now without dying with regrets, if she is to pass. "Armin...I-I wanted t-to tell you that I.....l-l-love you."

Armin's eyes shoot out wide in astonishment before tears began to build up in his pair of Ocean eyes. His bangs hides his tears however when he lowers his gaze to the floor. "E-E-Everything is going to be fine, Kiyomi. We are going to free you, I swear it. I made a promise with you...t-to see the Ocean together!"

"But Armin...you've already freed me." Kiyomi smiles before lightly leaning in and placing a gentle and soft kiss upon Armin's lips. It lasted a few moments before their lips parted. Kiyomi smiled. The light in her grey-blue eyes were slowly fading out. But then she closes them with a smile on her face. Armin had returned her feelings. That was enough.

"K-Kiyomi?! N-No!! P-please, open your eyes!! Don't leave me!!!" Armin cries and wails. Giant footsteps could be heard from the distance. Jean grimace before grabbing Armin around his waist and flying off with him.

"Kiyomi, NOOOO!!!" Armin screams and cries as he reaches out at extended hand for the love of his life. The Titan removes the rubble off of Kiyomi and devours her. She may had been dead, but she was alive enough to the Titan to want to devour.

The light immediately leaves Armin's eyes upon seeing Kiyomi be swallowed up into the stomach of the horrid Titan. Ever since then, the light refused to show in Armin's once bright blue Ocean eyes. Looking into his eyes, they looked like the sunny bright waves of the Ocean. But now, they looked dark like a stormy Ocean.

Armin never did get over the death of Kiyomi. Not ever. People told him to do it, but he couldn't. He could never. If he had any regrets in his life, it wasn't not seeing the Ocean. It was failing to save the woman he loved.
