Attack on Titan: Fix you - Prolouge

It was another month and day beyond the walls humanity keeps themselves caged within in order to keep themselves safe from the threat that threatens to push their kind towards the brink of extinction-- Titans.

Titans are humanoid Giants who roam the whole rest of the world. They are seen as mindless, dead eyed creatures who could pose little threat. Well...that's what the Garrison thinks, anyway.

But in reality, Titans are very dangerous and pose a great threat to the human race. Titans don't do much besides sleeping, sitting, or wondering around. They will ignore all life forms...well, besides humans that is.

Titans have no digestive system, therefore, they don't need to eat anything to survive. But despite that, they eat people anyway. They seem to do it for the mere pleasure than for a food source.

Titans appeared over a hundred years ago. When they first appeared, humans were nearly brought to extinction over night.

And to survive against the new threat, humanity built walls wall Maria, Rose, and Sina. The human race, or what remained of it, withdrew behind the walls spending many unsettling years of uneasy peace.

Over a hundred years have passed since then. Peace inside the walls was much easier now. But peace inside the walls won't last forever. And the walls won't be able to hold forever, either. It's only a matter of time.

And only a matter of time til that peace would be stolen away, it was indeed. In the year 845, new breeds of Titans appeared such as the Colossal and armored.

A hole was breached into Wall Maria, and many ordinary Titans and abnormals made their way inside, eating anyone the giant's laid their eyes on.

The Survivors made way to the boats and retreated into Wall Rose. After the fall of Wall Maria, food became harder to come by. And the survivors of Wall Maria were sent to work in the fields to help the populace from starving.

Five years later, it is confirmed that a 15 year old trannie cadet from the Military had the power to shapeshift into a Titan at will. His name is Eren Yeager.

Eren uses his new founded Titan ability and lifts a large boulder and blocks off the hole that was made in Trost district.

Five years after the Colossal Titan's first appearance, it reappeared and kicked yet another hole into the wall.

But all thanks to Eren, the hole was sealed and no more Titans would be able to make their way inside no more.

The citizens were sent to retreat Trost district while the Garrison regiment and the 104th cadet trannies job's we're to wipe out the remaining Titans.

There are 3 Military branches reinforced inside the walls. The regiment most soldiers in training apply for is the Garrison regiment.

The Garrison's task is to patrol and protect the citizens inside the walls. The members to this group can be seen as irresponsible.

The Military police's job is to protect the King of the walls. However, the Military is very corrupt seeing how the Survey Corps, also known as the scouts, are constantly risking their lives fighting off Titans and protecting the people.

The Survey Corps is said to be the "Elite" soldiers who are constantly sent outside the walls to fight any Titan that crosses their path and are on continuous pressure from their superiors and populace.

Sadly, during the fight for Trost, the Survey Corps were currently out on an expedition beyond the walls at the time. They only made their return shortly after the battle was over.

Eren Yeager, humanities savor, was rewarded by being shackled in the prison beneath the court house, ran by Darius Zackly.

Eventually Eren was brought out, dragged into the courtroom, chained up to a pole, and questioned.

While he had just saved humanity from the Titan's wrath, and while he is completely loyal to the cause in which he fights for, (Humanity's freedom and victory against the Titans) many finds it difficult to put their trust in him.

So the court session was basically about which Military branch will have Eren in their custody. Will be be placed with the Survey Corps? The Garrison? The Military Police? Or the Church of the Walls?

The Survey Corps desired, if they could have Eren in their custody, to make use of his Titan abilities on expeditions beyond the walls. And that is all. Erwin Smith was the one who vouched for the Survey Corps branch.

Nike Dok, who was vouching for the Military Police, considered that if the Military Police would be the ones to have Eren in custody, to run experiments on him and to execute him afterwards.

And as for the Wallist, worshippers of the wall, Pastor Nick rather than making considerations, demands that Eren should be executed immediately.

The Wallist are religious people who believe that the walls to be sacred. Their numbers of followers have begun to rise after the fall of Wall Maria.

Eventually the fear of possibilities such as Eren perhaps being a Titan that can transform into a human made its way to many heads.

A few few soldiers begun to point rifles towards Eren. But before the worst could happen, Levi Ackerman, a Survey Corps Commander, also known as, "Humanity's strongest" approached Eren was no threat, and that he was nothing he couldn't handle.

It was then decided that Eren would be entrusted to the Survey Corps. Ever since then, Eren along with his childhood friends enlisted in the scouts, Armin and Mikasa ventured together beyond the walls-- fighting for a future of freedom and peace.

And as the story was first starting out, it was another day and month beyond the walls. It was yet another expedition the Scouts were partaking in.

The Survey Corps were reaching ever closer towards the truth about the Titans, which shall lead to Humanity's victory against the monster's who had stolen away the world from them.

Not much would be accomplished during the scouting mission, however. But little did Armin know...the unfortunate accident that would occur and forever change his life.
