Attack on Wolves Book 1 - Part 1

Authors Note: It's so sinful, currently, last I checked, there are literally no Armin fanfiction or nothin' this week!! I know the week has only just started, bit still! It can't be tolerated! So I will post a few stories including Armin this week. I was going to post this story once I finished book 1, but decided to share it anyway. Basically this is a series I am making based off Attack on Titan but instead of it being humans vs Giants, it's a wolf pack vs wolf pack. If anyone reads, I hope you enjoy! This took so long to make and I have yet to finish it but if you read, thanks very much!

There once stood a forest called Paradise. It once was a peaceful forest, there was no reason to fear for your life. You were free to live your life as you pleased, without living in fear or pain. But that has all changed now.

The wolves of Paradise known as the Eldian pack is no longer free. They have to constantly fear their life in the face of the enemy. The enemy was a pack known as the Titans. Unlike Eldian wolves, the Titans were a pack that shown no mercy and not only killed for a food source, but for sport.

The Titans were looked down upon in both disgust and hatred. It wasn't until the lot of those wolves appeared that the peaceful life Eldian wolves once knew, was stripped away from them.

But the Titan pack was not the only problem and root of their peace and freedom being stipped away. Across the river, was a pack of wolves known as Marylians.

Marylians despised the Eldian pack of wolves, and thought them to be devils that cannot be allowed to live simply because of their ancestors past actions.

There was once a war between Eldian and Marylian wolves. And the Eldians ancestors never told the following generation the story of how the fighting all began, so they no longer care to fight and only want peace.

But the Marlyians could care less about being on peaceful terms with the Eldians. All they want is to soak their fangs with the Eldians blood and to wipe their pack off the face of the earth. Because they believe their pack to not have the right to exist.

So the Eldian packs are up against not only Titans, but the Marlyians. All they want is their peace and freedom back. There were a group of three wolves... they went by the name of Eren, Armin, and Mikasa.

The three were not related by blood, but all they had was each other because they each lost their original family to the hatred that threatens to wipe out their kind. So the three friends band together and they became a family.

Armin's dream has always been to one day see the Ocean. But they were obviously too far from it. Ocean's don't exist in grasslands such as forest. Eren would always remind Armin thus, but he didn't seem to mind or care.

Armin would still talk to Eren about it enthusiastically. He always told Eren words that his grandfather once told him; that if you follow the river, eventually you will find the sea. And where there's the sea, there's freedom.

Eren has always wondered what truly existed beyond the sea. Both he and Armin has seen rivers, but never oceans.

But... Armin has also mentioned how his parents disagreed with his grandfather's idea. They would say that oceans don't exist, but rivers. And beyond the river, there lies freedom.

They would sometimes bicker over their differing opinions, but at the end of the day, their thoughts were pretty much the same; anywhere there was a land of water, little or big, freedom exist on the other side.

"Eren... what if one day you and I could see it together?" Armin once proposed to Eren. It's always been Armin's dream to one day wonder beyond the pack's territory and to explore the rest of the world.

The world after all, is so big and vast... much bigger than the territory they have here. The elders never allowed any young pups to ever wonder beyond the borders. You were only allowed if you were heading out to hunt for the pack. Otherwise, you had to stay in the territory, where it was safe. Away from the wrath of the Titan pack of wolves who are always on the look out for Eldians to hunt down for sport.

But luckily, the Titans have yet to find the Eldian's home territory. Everyone thought that this easy peace would remain forever. But deep down, both Armin and Eren knew it; the Titans would one day find their territory, and that easy peace would eventually come to an end.
