After unpacking and getting their first load settled, the gang makes their second and final trip to unload the truck.
Kiyomi starts to reach out and touch one of the surfboards but is startled the daylights out of when Jean swipes the surfboard and barks at her!
Jean harshly scolds Kiyomi, telling her to keep her damn hands off and so on. Kiyomi tried to apologise, but before she could get the chance, Jean storms downhill with his surfboard to the beach.
Kiyomi was quite taken aback and hurt. All she was trying to do was help out. To be useful to everyone...

Armin saw it all, and hurried over to Kiyomi. Armin was silent at first, uncertain as to how to approach her.
But then he places a gentle hand on her shoulder, gently rubbing his thumb across it, in hopes of comforting her.
"Hey, it's ok. Don't worry about it. It wasn't anything personal. I should have mentioned this to you before we head out. But... that surfboard is very special to Jean. You see, it was gifted to him by his father. His father died when Jean was still only a boy, so... he is just very careful and over-protective with this surfboard is all." Armin tried explaining the best way possible to Kiyomi so she'd understand.
"I-I didn't know. I-I didn't mean..." Before Kiyomi could get more upset with herself, Armin offers her to carry his own surfboard back down to the beach.
"A-Are you sure?" Kiyomi asked in surprise, wondering if it was truly okay. "Absolutely, go ahead!" Smiled Armin, not minding Kiyomi taking hold of the surfboard at all.
Kiyomi takes hold of it, and whoas while admiring the art designed on the surfboard. "This is beautiful!" Kiyomi stares at the design. "The artwork imprinted onto the surfboard was an amazing image of a huge wave!
