Today was the day Armin, for the very first time, had taken a life. If he didn't step in, Jean would have been killed. He shot a woman who had a gun pointed at Jean. but she hesitated.
Because Armin was able to shoot first, he pondors to himself whether that meant that she was more human than he was. After having killed the woman, a few hours had passed. Levi's squad had made it to a cabin to spend the night in. currently they are on the run since the Scouts are wanted at the time.
Kiyomi was just helping everyone settle in, and she noticed Armin disappearance. Worried, she steps outside and she finds him leaning against a tree, puking and getting sick. "A-Armin, are you okay...?" Kiyomi approaches Armin and places a hand on his shoulder, attempting to comfort him someway somehow.
"I-I killed her..." Sobs Armin as more and more tears builds up in his eyes and streams out in a overflowing river. "I killed her....and she hesitated. She....she had to been more human than I could ever be. I killed her....without hesitation. I-I'm a bad person..."
Armin cries and sobs ugly, never ending tears streaming down his eyes, snot coming out from his nose. Kiyomi hugs Armin from behind to ease his cries. "Armin....you did it to save Jean. And your not a bad person. The rest of the world can think that way of you, but to me, you'll always be a good person."
Having said this, Armin seemed to feel slightly better. He still felt very guilty for taking the woman's life earlier, but Kiyomi's words seemed to have cheered him up, even if it was only by a little.
