Angels and Devils - (Part Fifteen)

( I'm making another chapter. Because I lost control over my life :/ I don't even know when this is gonna end :( )

Adam's POV

I got a call from my mom. She wants to see my other siblings and I for her birthday coming up. To be honest, the last time I talked to my mom was about coming over here. Jeez, it's almost been a year.

James walked into my room. "Hey Adam, we have a meeting tomorrow before you head to school."

"James...We need to talk." I told him gesturing him to sit on my bed. James sat down and I rolled my chair infront of him. "My mom just called. Her birthday is this Saturday. We haven't spent time together in a while and she doesn't know that I'm with you. So, I was thinking maybe we could go down and spend time with her and my other siblings." I said trying to smile but it felt weak.

"Adam, you know I can't stay down there. It would kill me!"

"I know. It's just, my Earth mom didn't really care about me too much. She was proud of my Earth siblings more than me. So when I died and came down here, my mom took care of me and two others like my older sister and younger brother. I have to go and you should too. I met your parents."

James looked like he was thinking. "Maybe we can invite them here! Maaz can make the invite and you can bring it to them." We both agreed and we got ready for bed. This was gonna be awesome!

The day of my Mom's birthday came around and I flew down to Hell. It was early so I had to move quick Hell in the morning. People fighting, drinking, etc. I knocked on my parents' door and to my surprise I saw my brother.

"Adam!" Kaleb said hugging me. I hugged back as he welcomed me in. My sister came to see me and well. After that, I went to the living room where my parents were. "Hi Mom, hi Dad!"

"Adam, I'm so glad you could make it. It's been so long since I had everyone together." she said.

We all caught up and we got to hear crazy awesome stories and eat together until Dad asked about what I've been doing.

"Well, I was hoping I could show you guys. As most of you know I've been in Heaven for a while now and reforming and I'm kinda dating King James and I'm his right hand. So, I wanted to invite you guys for a two day one night stay Heaven. You'll be in the castle."

My whole family was shocked. My mom and Kaleb looked really excited but my dad and sister didn't look too pleased. However, it was Mom's choice so we all flew up to Heaven.

"Wow! It is bright up here and the ground is so soft." Kaleb said walking around.

"That's because we're on clouds." my sister said checking her horns and tail.

We walked into the castle where James, Maaz, Tim, Rebecca and Jaiden were waiting. My family bowed as I waved at my friends. "Guys, this is James, Jaiden, Tim, Rebecca, and Maaz. Guys, this is my brother, sister, and parents."

"U-uh...Hi. I'm James, nice to meet you all." James studdered. He's just a little worried. After everyone shook hands Maaz took everyone around you there rooms to get them settled.

"So, any work for me today?" I asked James.

"Don't worry about me Adam, go have fun with your family this weekend. I got it." he told me. I gave James a kiss on the cheek and I went off to join my family.

During the tour around the castle my family started whispering to each other. I didn't understand what it was about so I asked my sister. "Hey having fun?"

"Yeah, the place is great and all but, here... really? Adam this place is for angels and not for us. Don't you like being bad? Going out and having fun like we used to?" she asked me.

"Come on, don't be a downer. Adam still does bad things. I bet you sin all the time. He's still our brother. Nothing's changed." Kaleb said.

My heart kina sunk. "Well... I'm trying not to do that anymore. It isn't right." My siblings looked disappointed but still smiled at me. Who cares what they think anyway? At least Mom is having fun. That's why she's here.

After the tour, I walked up to Mom. "Enjoying the trip Mom? It's a special birthday present from your favorite child. Oh wait, it's also the ONLY present you got." I said trying to make my other siblings feel jealous.

"Adam, I don't have a favorite. Being here is great though. Thank you. It's just your father and I are just wondering if this is where your going to spend the rest of your life."

"Well yeah, why not?"

"First, it's far away from home. Second, we raised you to be a demon not an angel. In fact, all demons are raised to be demons. I don't understand why we need a school up here anyway. "

That time it really hurt. Did I my family really think I was going soft? Was I going soft? Was it for James? I frowned and walked off.

"I'm not going soft."

"I'm still a demon."

"I'm still evil."

"I'm the most evil demon in the family and I'll prove it."

"You'll see....."
