James' POV

I watched from my room outside the window. A fight broke out in the north. I looked down and saw Adam, my best friend. He's an amazing knight and he always protects the people he cares about. I've been thinking of making him my personal knight one day.

I wave at him by the window. He waves back and continues to fight. He tried to put on a brave face for me but I knew he was scared for his life, I was scared for him too.

Adam knocked the sword out of enemy's hand and kicked him back. He than sliced off another enemy's head and threw it at a sniper. There was blood on his armor as he fought off the crowd. Suddenly, the group retreated into the forest. We won!

I ran downstairs to where the army members met up. I saw Adam and jumped into his arms. "Hey Jameson." he said, ruffling my hair.

"I'm so proud of you! You did great out there. How you kicked that guy and he got trampled but that horse and when you killed that guy and used his head to hit a sniper! You're so cool man!" I said.

He chuckled as he face was dusted with a hint of blush. "Ye, it was nothing. Just gotta do what you can to protect the royals."  Adam said cleaning the sweat and blood on his face.

"So, if you're free later, wanna me in my room?"

"Sounds good Jameson."

I smiled and left his side. I was so excited to spend another night with him. We normally hung out and celebrated his victories. We would drink or play together. Anything was fine with us. As long as we were with each other.

Adam's POV

I love Prince James, I really do. I mean, everyone loves him because he's the prince. But I don't just like him because he has money and he's popular. I actually got to know him for who he was. I still remember the day we met.

A blond girl named Faith, walked over to me while I was training. She tapped my back and I turned around to face her. "Hello! My brother think your cute!" she chirped. She pointed to James, who was hiding his burning hot face in his hands. I walked over and introduced myself. Ever since than we've been friends and he's been my crush.

"So you going in another date with you're royal boyfriend?" one guard said. I work around assholes. They all make fun of me for liking Jameson and the love he gives me. I know there just jealous of me but man it sucks.

"He's not my boyfriend guys. He's just my friend." I said, putting down towel.

"He might as well be your boyfriend. You guys always hang out, he's always worried about you, and you looove him~" another guard teased.

"I-I do not. He's just a friend, end of story." I pouted. I felt heat creeping up my neck as they all laughed. "Than why is your face so red everytime we talk about him? You gay or something?"

"Shut the fuck up! I'm going to my room.".

"You mean the personally room you share with the prince so you can have sex?" I stopped by the door, my face practically on fire. They all erupted in laughter. "Don't forget to take the dirty laundry out you gay bitch!" one yelled. I turned around and was immediately attacked with dirty armor, clothes, and boxers. I sighed and took them out.
