Date Night (One-Off)

Adam put on a leather jacket over his red shirt. Tonight, he was taking James out on a date. To be honest, he was pretty nervous. He just wanted his date with James to go perfectly so he could ask James to be his boyfriend. A lot of pressure was on him tonight and he just wanted it all to be perfect. Adam got in his car and drove to James house.

Adam knocked on James' door and watched as it opened up. James a navy blue sweater with a violet scarf. Adam couldn't help but blush at James' smiling face. "Earth to Adam, you've been looking at me for a while." Adam looked up at James as heat started crawling up his neck. "Sorry, you just look really nice tonight. Come on let's go." Adam said holding James' hand.

Adam drove James to a restaurant. It was really fancy and beautiful. The two sat at their table and waited for a waiter. She walked over and fluttered her big blue eyes at James. Adam couldn't help but start be feel jealous. "So, do handsome guys like you always coming here?" she asked. James looked at Adam to signal him to take care of it.

"Yup he really is a handsome treasure aren't you hun?" Adam said winking at James.

"Not at handsome as you babe." James replied reaching out to hold Adam's hand. The waiter took there orders, Chicken Alfredo for James and a mini pizza for Adam and she walked up. Angrily smiled and walked off as the two started laughing.

"Hey Adam, thanks for helping me with her. I honestly don't know what I would of done. She really scared me." James said.

"No problem Jameson. You know I would do anything for you. Plus, I kinda hated her guts." Adam said.

Once they were done eating the two went to watch a movie. The movie theater was actually pretty empty that night so the two just sat there. Adam put his arm around James as he leaned his head on Adam's shoulder. They stayed cuddled up for the entire movie.

As James and Adam walked out of the theater as they held hands. "You know I didn't notice until now but you're hair is all brushed out." James said running his fingers through Adam's hair."

"Yeah I wanted to look my best for you. You deserve the best Jameson." Adam said.

"But you are the best Adam. You're my favorite person to be around. Nothing and nobody can replace the way I feel around you. I really like you." James said, "And personally I like you're messy hair."

"I'm glad you do. I like it better that way too. Feels like me you know?"

James giggled. "You know I really enjoyed tonight. I wish we could do this more often. Go one dates and adventures and stuff."

"Me too. I wanna be more in you're like Jameson. And all that stuff isn't impossible. Actually, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my boyfriend?" Adam asked nervously.

"You mean it?" James asked. Adam nodded. "Yeah. I really do wanna be yours Adam." James leaned close to Adam and curled a tuft of hair in his finger. Adam leaned in too wrapping his arms around James waist. James cupped his hands on Adam cheeks and pulled him into a loving kiss. Adam melted into it as he felt James' hands slowly slipped down his face and wrapped around his neck. When they pulled away from each other for air they both just smiled at each other as the reality of it all fell in.

"That just happened. I kissed James. I kissed James! I'm his boyfriend now! We're in a relationship!" Adam thought, his smile only growing more as he thought about it.

"You're so freaking cute when you smile Adam." James said. Adam quickly got flustered and looked down. "You're also adorable when you blush." James added kissing his cheek. The two laughed as Adam walked James home, where they cuddled the rest of the night.
