Speed Demon (AU)

Adam's POV

I, Adam Oritz, am the soul protector of Earth. Some people know me best as Speed Demon. I'm a super hero, as some would say and the fastest man alive. I fight off any villain who tries to take over the world. No one can stop me. I promise to protect the people of Earth.

I drove into my hideout late at night. Yeah, it was pretty lonely begin alone but it's kinda how I keep my secret. I opened my closet to see my costume. It was a red mask with strong demon horns on top and my matching suit with a robotic demon tail. I had black gloves with claws and matching boots. Finally, my yellow cape. Once I put everything on I ran outside and started my patrol.

It was a quiet night. Nothing was really happening. The city was safe, that was a good thing. Suddenly, I noticed a blue bird walking into a warehouse with something that looked like a body. I ran down from the building I was sitting on and tried to get a closer look.

"Stop moving bitch!" they said. It sounded like a female voice. The body was squirming around. It was a guy, he was a dirty blond and he looked like he was about to cry.

I sprung into action and snuck into the warehouse. A green parrot was working on some kind of machine. The blue bird put the man in the chair and tied him up.

"Good job Parrot. Now with my new spray I'll fill the atmosphere with my new gas and turn everyone into birds! My bird army will rule the world and I will be their queen! And it'll all start with my test subject. They will all bow down to me Blue Jai!" she yelled and started a cackle.

I ran behind them and to the man. I used my claws to rip the rope and free him. The guy started sobbing as he shook in his chair. "Hey, it's alright. I'm here to save you. I won't let anything happen to you ok. What's your name?"

"J-James. James Rallison." he stuttered silently.

"That's a nice name. I'm Speed Demon. I'm gonna take care of these two chicken legs and I'll come back for you. Just hide somewhere and I'll get you." I told him as I rushed off again.

I unplugged my the machine and tried to knock it over. "Blue Jai! Someone is trying to knock over our project!" the Parrot said.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the Speed Demon. I've heard a lot about you. Too bad we won't have enough time to get to know each other." she said and sent her parrot henchman after me. He tackled me and started squawking in my face. I quickly kicked him off of me and scratched him in the face. Then I grabbed him with my tail and threw him at the Blue Jai.

"You're not getting away that easily!" she yelled and flew after me. I ran around her and punched her in the face. Then I swung my tail around her and threw her at her spray. Her beak broke a hold and the glass started to leak out. "Ha! You're too late! It's starting!" she yelled.

"No yet!" I replied. I ran around the gas which made it into a cloud. I used my cape to carry all the air. Finally I put it all back in the tank and plugged the whole. "Blue Jai and Parrot you are both under arrest!" I said as I cuffed the two. I called the cops and let them deal with the rest.

"Hey James where are yo-" I was cut off by James wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into a hug. "That was so cool! Thank you so much! You saved my life!" he said. I felt a little embarrassed. James' looked really cute. His smile was so cute as his eyes sparkled. I couldn't help but smile at him. He was contagious. "Oh. Sorry. " he said letting go of me. I'm sure he was blushing. "It's alright. You can go home now. I'll see you around." I said and I ran off.

The next day I couldn't help but think of James.  I don't know why, I save people all the time but they never stay in my mind. Yet, he stayed. I wish I could of shown him who I was
but it is a secret identity. I sighed and just got to animating.

While working I was listing to this guy called TheOdd1sOut. He's really funny and awesome. I noticed in one of his videos he showed off his face. My eyes lit up as I saw, it was the same person I saved. I decided to reach out and text him. He was really friendly and nice, he even knew who I was on YouTube. I think I'm gonna like this guy.
