A Calm Valentine's Day

Adam was working on a video, as normal, as he got a reminder on his phone. "Right." he said as he looked at his bottle of water and took a sip. However, he noticed that the reminder was not his normal drink water reminder, it was a reminder for Valentine's Day. Adam checked the calendar on his phone. Wednesday February 12th.

"Oh shit, I almost forgot Valentine's Day! Gotta think of something special for James." Adam said as he took a break to start thinking. "Oh I know!" Adam said as he got to work planning and calling people.

The next day Adam called James. "Hey Jameson! How's it going?"

"Hey Adam. Tired. How are you?"

"Also tired. How about you spend the night with me? I know my place isn't as big as your's but we haven't spent time together lately and I think we should just spend a day charging our batteries."

"Sounds pretty relaxing. I'm drop Floof over at her dog sitter and I'll see you than. "

"Ok see ya later Jameson." Adam said while hanging up. Step one of Operation Valentine is a go! Adam ran to his car and started blowing up pink and red heart shaped balloons and putting them in his car. Before he could finish James arrived.

"Adam what are you doing out here?" James asked.

"Waiting for you.......It's so nice outside..... so, I thought I would sit here.......and wait for....you." Adam could hardly breathe. The hot sun was beaming on him. He was standing outside blowing up balloons for almost a half hour.

"And I thought I needed this break. Let's get you inside." James said walking Adam into his house.

The two sat on the couch and started watching TV. "Oh no! I forgot to get my pups some more dog food. Mind watching them for me while I go get some?"

"Sure! I love your dogs. There super cute!" James said.

"Almost as cute as you. Thank Jameson!" Adam said giving James a kiss and walked out the door. Adam started the car and drove to James' house.

"Here's my balloons." Jaiden said dumping them on the floor.

"Why did you need balloons again?" Tim asked.

"It's for Valentine's Day. James is at my house for the night so when I bring him home he's gonna see all of these. Speaking of which you got the fire works Tim?"

"Yeah. Doesn't this seem like a lot of work to clean up. Your gonna have to pop all of these. Plus, the confetti is gonna be everywhere." Tim said as Jaiden scattered pink, red, and silver confetti everywhere.

"Yeah it's gonna be a lot of work to get rid of but I think it's sweet of Adam. He's just trying to give James the best. Anything else you need help with?" Jaiden asked.

"I need chocolate, candles, rose petals, and garlic bread." Adam said.

"Ok Tim, bring the chocolate and bread and I'll get the candles and rose petals. Adam you check on James." Jaiden ordered.

"Got it!" Tim said.

"Yes ma'am!" Adam said. "James is gonna love this."

"Hey Adam, welcome back." James said petting Thurnis and Chunkers. The two dogs looked nice and cozy next James. The seen was so adorable it made Adam's heart melt. "Aww look at my boys all getting along!"

"I'm kinda hungry. Can we get some food?" James asked.

"I know! I'll go back out and get us some food." Adam suggested.
