Speed Demon AU - Part 2

( Hey so, if you wanna write a fanfic about Speed Demon or something I don't mind. I kinda wanna see some super hero versions of animators on fanfiction. Maybe make James the super hero idk. I just kinda wanna see this. If this does inspire you, can you just @  me? Thanks. )

Adam's POV

I've been getting to know James better for the past few months. We actually became really good friends. We're both into entertainment, video games, and a bunch of other stuff. He even introduced me to other animators, Tim Tom and Jaiden. They seem like good people but they're also a little weird. Every time I see Jaiden she has purple feathers in her hair, and it's not from her bird Ari because he has gray and blue feathers. James loves them for some reason so I love them too.

We we're all at James' house relaxing and watching TV. We notice the news channel talking about me saving someone last night. I smiled to myself, I did a really good job. Jaiden however wasn't so impressed.

"What's with that Speed Demon guy anyway? He gets in the way of everything! He's so annoying with his super speed and strong tail." she said.

"What do you have against him? He didn't do anything to you. All he wants to do is help people out." I snapped.

"I just don't like super heros I guess." she shrugged and changed the channel.

"You know, I actually met Speed Demon!" James said proudly. "Some stupid bird bitch and her parrot kidnapped me. But Speed Demon saved me. I really wish I could see him again. His strong arms, his bravery, his calming voice. He's super cool."

I sighed and looked down. He likes my hero form more than the real me. I mean doesn't everyone. No one cares to know Adam, they want to know Speed Demon. My heart was a little broken since I like James but at least he thinks of me as a hero. Jaiden looked a little pissed off at James but I ignored it.

"Sounds like you have a crush on that demon guy." Tim pointed out.

"I mean he's alright but I like someone more. I'm closer to them too. I rather be with them than some super hero. He's probably got too much on his mind right now anyway." James explained. I smiled knowing that I might still have a chance after all.

"Alright. I don't see what the big deal is with that demon guy anyway. He just kinda annoying to be honest. Let's just try and find something to watch." Tim said trying to change the conversation. We all just sat and enjoyed some time together.

Later that night, I was just really bored. The city was safe and nothing really happened. I couldn't stop thinking about what James said. Maybe, I could go and see him just for tonight. I ran over to his house and looked through his window. But he wasn't there. Instead, I saw two people that shouldn't be there.

"Hurry up and grab him Parrot! We might get caught and I need to start my mutation device. Bring him down here!" It was the Blue Jai and her Parrot.

"Coming Jai, just let me knock him out." the Parrot said, "The get his stupid dog out of here." he added  He must of been talking about Floof who was barking up a storm. I saw Parrot fly down with a body in his claws. Jameson! I had to rescue him again. I followed the two birds around the city. They weren't getting away with it.

Finally I got to their hideout. It was snapped life a bird feeder almost. I hid in a nearby Bush and listened to their plans.

"Wha- Where am I?" James said.

"The end of your life as a human. No longer will you be James, you will be my zombie bird. You will be the first of my army and we'll take over the world together!" she said as she started to cackle.

"Not if I have anything to say about!" I yelled as I ran inside. James' eyes sparkled as he looked at me. I love it when he does that. "You're too late, Speed Demon. My mutation machine is already powered!" she said as she pushed James into her machine.

Blue feathers started to grow on his skin. My arms became huge green wings. His legs we're thinner and his feet became claws. On his face a massive yellow beak grew. His horrified scream made my skin crawl. Before I knew it he started chirping and his eyes turned blood red.

"How could you do this to him? What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I yelled. She just shrugged and laughed. "You'll pay for this you twisted son of bitch!" I yelled and ran after her. James flew infront of her and knocked me back.

Of course, I didn't want to hurt James. I had to find some way to turn him back. He flew after me and threw me at a wall. I fell to the ground and groaned in pain. James used his huge crawls and scratched my face, knocking off and breaking my mask and demon horns. My hair and face were showing. I was revealed.

"Adam?!" Blue Jai yelled. Everyone just starred at me. "I can't believe it. Your the one who ruined my plans. Aww, and I actually liked you. Oh well, finish him!" she yelled at James.

We just looked at each other for what felt like forever. "Please James, it's me Adam. Don't do this buddy. I-I.....I love you." I said.

James squawked and flew at me. I closed my eyes preparing myself for what was to come.

He scooped up my mask and demon horns and gave them to me. I looked up and smiled at him. He was still my James, the James I feel in love with all those months ago.

James turned around and flew at Blue Jai and started to attack her. "No, get him! You're supposed to get him!" she yelled and she flew away from him. I ran over to the Parrot and punched him. He was knocked out cold. I took off his mask and saw that it was Tim. Which ment Blue Jai, was Jaiden.

James grabbed Jaiden by the back of her feather and threw her at a wall. He got really close to her and screeched into her face, shattering the glass around her. I ran up next to James and looked at her. "Sorry Jaiden, buy you're caged." I said and arrested her. After that I ran up to her machine and destroyed it. James slowly turned back into his adorable and loving self.

I dropped the two off at prison and I walked with James. I had an extra mask that I put on to hide my face. It was a little awkward so I tried to start up a conversation.

"So, tonight was interesting." I joked.

"I still can't believe you're Speed Demon. Why didn't you tell me?"

I sighed. "Because, it's a secret identity and I didn't want you to only like me because I'm a super hero."

"Adam, you were always my hero. You didn't have to be Speed Demon to be my demon. I love you Adam and I always have loved you. Nothing will change that. I promise." he said.

I put my hand on James' cheek which he happily nuzzled his gave into. His beautiful sparkling eyes looking at me. I brushed his hair with my thumb and smiled. He leaned in closer and wrapped his arms around my neck as he slowly placed his lips soft on my own. I pulled him closer to me to deepening the kiss.

Once we pulled away a goofy smiled appeared on James' face. I couldn't help but copy my smile. His smile is contagious as always. "You want a ride home?" I asked him as I turned around. James got on my back and I ran to his house.

I put James' down in front of his house. "So, do you wanna come inside, I'll make hot chocolate and we could maybe cuddle a bit?" James asked.

"Sure. I would like to see where this goes Jameson."

"Jameson, I like that name. I wanna see where this goes too. " I said as we both walked into his house.
