"So, I can't stay here?" He asked. I sighed. "Harry, you see this box? It's full of papers, all written in french. I have three days to go through every single one, translate it, and send it to my boss." I stated. He looked at me. "So... I can stay. As long as I leave you alone?" He said slowly.

I sat down at the table. "I'd 100% prefer if you left. But, I work for you, and I'm not allowed to physically hurt you. So, can't really do much about that." I replied, pulling the first stack of papers out.

He nodded, sitting on the couch with the coffee he'd made...

"Can we go get something to eat?" He asked. I looked over at him, snapping back into reality. "What?" I asked. "Food. I'm hungry, and you've been doing that for hours." He said. I looked at him, confused. I glanced over at my computer, seeing that it was nearly 2:00 in the afternoon.

"Oh. Um, you can go do that. I need to keep working." I answered, going back to reading through the documents. He stood up, walking over and shutting my computer, taking the paper from my hand. "Harry, I don't have time for this." I stated, trying to grab my paper back from him. He held it away from me.

"You need to take a break, and eat something. I haven't seen you eat all day. So, let's go." He stated. I sighed, leaning back in my chair.

"Harry, I think maybe you should go alone, or order something to get delivered. Those pictures that got out of us; I couldn't take them down. They're learning to copyright them, which makes it more difficult, and it's—" He grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the chair.

"Stop making excuses. You need to eat." He said, pulling me across the room. I quickly used my free-hand to twist his wrist, turning and freeing myself. "Don't ever do that." I stated, walking into the bathroom and shutting the door. I locked it, looking at my wrist. I sat on the edge of the tub, shoving my hands through my hair.

He knocked on the door. "Brynn." He said. "Go away." I commented, my mind overwhelmed by the flashbacks and the years of torment.. He knocked again. "Please open the door. I'm really sorry; I shouldn't have done that." He said.

"Harry, go away. Just leave me the hell alone." I stated, barely able to breathe. A minute later, I heard the front door shut, and looked up, surprised.. I slowly stood up, walking over, listening through the door. Nothing.. I unlocked it, pulling it open, stepping out of the bathroom. Harry was gone. I sighed, relieved...

I ended up doing another hour's worth of work, and was mid-typing when I heard a key turn in the lock, confusing me. I looked up at the same time the door opened. I sighed, going back to my typing. Harry walked in, shutting the door behind him and dropping my keys onto the counter. "I got you food." He commented, walking over. He set a bag down in front of me.

"I'm trying to work." I said, pushing the bag away. He pulled out the chair next to mine, and sat down, looking at me. "Brynn.. I'm really sorry about earlier. I'm not used to having to be careful about doing stuff like that. It won't happen again." He explained. I didn't respond, saving my work, and putting the document in one of the folders. I picked up another one, and heard him sigh. "You need to eat." He said, reaching over and pushing the bag back towards me.

"Harry, I'm working. Okay? I told you that I was busy. I haven't gotten anything done today because you keep talking and bothering me. This needs to be done by Thursday.. So, I don't need to eat. I'm trying to work." I stated, annoyed. He was watching me. "Brynn." He said. I ignored him, reading the rest of the document and then typing it into the computer. "Brynn." He repeated. I groaned, impatient. "What, Harry? What do you want now?" I asked, looking over at him after putting the paper in the folder.

"The box is empty." He said. I sent him a confused look, then looked back at the table. The box of documents was empty, and all of them were neatly put away in their folders. "Oh." I said quietly.

I had absolutely no idea how I'd finished translating and typing all of those in less than a day. It usually takes me a lot longer. "Sorry." I murmured, glancing over at him. "Brynn, you don't need to apologize for anything. You had three days to do all of those. And finished it in less than seven hours. I have no idea how you did that without eating anything, or taking any breaks. Please just eat, before you pass out." He said, pushing the bag of food towards me again. I looked over at it.

"Are you gonna stare at me the whole time?" I asked. He laughed, standing up and going over to the couch, turning on the tv. I sent the finalized report to my boss, and shut my laptop, feeling the exhaustion hit my brain. But, it felt good to be done with that mountain of work. And, I was proud of myself for doing it that quickly. I pulled the bag towards me. It was from Panera...

After I ate, I looked at the many piles of folders, wondering if there was any more work I could do. I glanced over at the tv, and sighed. I got up, walking over and sitting next to Harry. "Thanks for the food." I said quietly. He laughed, looking over at me. "No problem. Thanks for letting me stay here." He replied. I rolled my eyes, grabbing the blanket and moving to the other side of the couch, lying on my side, watching whatever show he was really into today....
