I know, I know, not the best way for a story to end. But they aren't all happily ever afters. That's the reality of things.
Yes, Brynn is dead. No, that was not what I had in mind when I started writing this story.
It took a lot for me to just publish that last part because I was debating keeping her alive for so long, and I knew everyone would absolutely hate the main character being killed off.
Halfway through writing this story, as I mentioned in one of the chapters, I had to spend a few days in the hospital. Unfortunately, it was a neurological thing, and I'm pretty certain it really fucked with my head. I've still been recovering from it, despite being released from the hospital a while back. I'm doing alright in the recent weeks, but sadly haven't gotten fully back to where I was as a writer..
I mainly just wanted to thank those who read all the way through, and stuck with me through the ups and downs. Sorry the ending may not have been what you were expecting. But... C'est la vie ;)
