To say the three friends took the news well would be a complete lie. That night was a wild storm for everyone, since Deaton could not explain exactly how they appeared other than something about a tree. Which didn't help the three at all cause none of them really understood. Especially since the conversation was not directed to the teenagers, it was more of a conversation between Laura and Deaton.

Briella had been the one later to demand what they were going to be doing now, since no one could figure a way to get them back home. Which then just turned into Deaton driving them to Beacon Hills Orphanage, since they technically didn't have families to go back to. And they were just thrown into the system, but Deaton promised that he'd make sure they found good homes.

But that meant there was the likely possibility that the three would be in separated living spaces. The worst part of this all was that the three had to go through the system and get their fingerprints done. Even birth certificates, which Briella still demanded how Deaton was able to do anything to help them with this. After this, Deaton just left them with the orphanage.

"Classes at Beacon Hills high school start tomorrow-" The three teenagers sigh while listening to some woman that worked in the orphanage, "You have been enrolled, and we have found a couple of families willing to have you live with them until something permanent comes along."

Ronald sits up, "A couple?"

"Yes, one family was willing to take two of you on."

"Sounds like a battle." Briella huffs as she crosses her arms over her chest, oddly she was the most difficult at the orphanage. Even though they had been there for a few days, "Which of us is the couple going together?"

"That is up to you, the families are letting you three decide since I have told them you all three came together."

Zelda stumbled out, "I don't want to be alone."

"Well, neither do I."

Briella looked over at Ronald and Zelda, she didn't want to be alone either but she just sighed, "Guess I'll be the one singled out."

"Are you sure?" Ronald asks her.

Briella just nodded her head, "Yeah, I can handle being alone. It's all good."

"Then I guess it's settled. I would like to just remind you three that these parents can send you back if you misbehave in any way, this is just foster care not permanent. I'll be finishing the paperwork, but they are in our waiting room."

Briella, Zelda, and Ronald all stood up at the same time. They knew where the waiting room was because they had sat in there before as well, just waiting to find out what was even going to happen to them. Zelda was the first to walk into the room, noticing that the two families stood up at their entrance.

"Zelda and Ronald, meet your home for now-" A mother and her son stepped forward with a smile, "Miss McCall."

"Melissa is fine." Her voice was calm and soothing, which calmed Zelda and Ronald down a little bit. "And this is my son, Scott."
