"These are ultrasonic emitters." Chris explains as he jams one into the ground, "It's one of the tools we use to corral werewolves, pushing them into a direction we want them to run. Gives off a high-pitched frequency that only they can hear."
Zelda released a cry and covered her ears, "Holy shit, no kidding!"
Chris began to hand out a pair to each of them from his trunk. Derek held it in his hands, "These are gonna drive them to the school?"
"And then it's up to you to get them into the basement."
Isaac played with them for a moment, "Does anyone else want to rethink the plan where we just, uh, kill 'em?"
"It's going to work." Scott tells everyone firmly, though their eyes did hold doubt, "It'll work."
Zelda was basically able to keep up with Scott as they ran in the direction of the school. She flinched whenever she turned the emitter on, which really sucked. She stopped at the front of the school, turning her head over to look at Scott who was on the other side of the lot that held all the buses. She sighed deeply and looked back at the school.

"And the hunted becomes the hunter." Peter let's himself become known in front of Derek, "You really think a few high-tech dog whistles are gonna help?"
Derek stood up after placing the emitter, "I don't see you offering a hand."
"Personally-" He approached his nephew, "I'm trying to cut down on futile endeavors."
"Cora's alive."
"I heard." Peter hums, "Let's throw the reunion party when she's not an unstoppable killing machine."
"I can stop her."
"Sure you can." Peter gets closer now, "By killing her... Which happens to be the point of this little exercise. Deucalion wants you to kill them. He wants you to get rid of his baggage, making it easier for you to join his pack. The fact that it was supposed to happen in the vault, and not up here, out in the open, doesn't change his plan. It just means that Boyd and Cora are gonna kill a few innocent people first."
"And I should just let them?" Derek demanded, "I should be okay with innocent people dying?"
"Unless you're okay killing your own."
"I can catch them."
"Oh, come on. How much damage can they do? So they off a few homeless people, a drunk stumbling out of a bar too late. So what? Let Scott deal with it. Let him be the hero of his morality black and white world. The real survivors, you and I, we live in shades of grey. Then again, even if you did kill them, you're still an Alpha. You can always make more werewolves." Peter eyed his nephew for a moment before adding, "You're weak, you need more betas."
"I'm not weak."
"I can smell the rejection off of you." Peter sniffs the air to make it more prominent that he could smell it, "What exactly did you do that could cause a woman that obviously has some sort of twisted romantic feelings for you to hate you with that much feeling?"
