Zelda laid back in the seat, she sat across from Scott and Stiles. Her hand was on her waist as she groaned. She knew damn well that she was healing but so slowly that it sucked ass. A wound from an Alpha hurts beyond comparison to anything and she'd been shot with a gun before. Her eyes moved over to Scott to see he was tensing too, but he seemed far worse than she was. She then looked forward to Ronald who was sitting beside Ethan still.
She had actually tried to sit down next to him but Ethan practically pushed her out of the way. Zelda did not even want to fight him over this because of how genuinely tired she was. And Ronald made it clear that he felt that Ethan wasn't planning on killing him. Also, Ronald made it clear that he couldn't exactly die from being killed anyway.
Ronald glanced back at Zelda before looking at Ethan as he checked his phone again, "Everything okay?"
"Yeah." Ethan answers while turning his head to look at him, "Why?"
"You checked your phone three times in the last five minutes." Ronald couldn't help but point this out to him.
Ethan only gave him a sideways smile, "Waiting for a message."
He didn't want to snoop but he added, "Is it important?"
"No." Ethan mumbles before putting his phone into his pocket, "Nothing important."
Ronald glanced back at his friends before looking at him again, "You do know you can talk to me about everything, right?"
"I appreciate the offer, but we both know that's not a good idea."
Ronald sank a little bit in his seat, "I know..."
"Hey-" Ethan kissed Ronald's cheek discreetly, "What did I tell you?"
"That our relationship isn't about the Alpha pack and our pack." Ronald says back to him softly, not knowing if any of his friends heard him or not. "I know."
"Then don't worry about us."

"Yo, Scotty. Hey, yo, Scotty?" Stiles waved his hand in front of Scott's face, getting Zelda's attention instead of Scott's, "You still with me?"
"Yeah, sorry." Scott cleared his throat as he looked back at Stiles, "Uh, what's the word?"
Stiles looks back down at the tablet, "Anachronism."
"Something that exists out of it's normal time."
"Nice." Stiles slides to the next word, "Okay, next word... incongruous."
"Um, can you use it in a sentence?"
"Yes. Yes, I can." Stiles hums before he twisted to give Scott a rather pointed look, "It's completely incongruous that we're sitting on a bus right now, on our way to some stupid cross-country meet after what just happened... incongruous."
