"You were invited to the funeral?"
Briella peeked up from her book, leaning back on the bed with a sigh, "Yes, I was. I am not exactly excited about it either because the Argent family freaks me out a bit."
"They're okay that Allison invited you?"
A very long sigh escaped Briella's lips, she felt like she was going to get absolutely no studying in because of her friends, "Yes, Allison said she didn't want to deal with her family alone. And since I'm human and not a werewolf Chris and Victoria didn't have a problem with me going."
Ronald only winced a little bit from his spot on the ground, obviously not doing any of his work, "That seems really weird."
"I didn't want to leave Allison alone and it's not like she could bring Scott." Briella mumbles before shutting her textbook entirely, "Which I still think is stupid."
"Me too." Zelda mumbles. She was laying on her back while giving the ceiling a blank stare. "It's not like Scott killed anyone, he's a good werewolf. Good werewolves should be allowed to date humans. Even if that human's family is full of hunters."
"Are you also saying that because you're a good werewolf?"
Zelda pursed her lips, "Yeah, but it's not like I'm exactly looking to date anyone right now. Plus, explaining to someone that I go crazy once a month won't be fun."
Briella cocked her head to the side, "Imagine it being the full moon when you're on your period."
Ronald shuddered at the thought, "Do not say that. I live with her. You don't."
Zelda shot up and pushed at Ronald as she addressed her friend, "Briella, how's Jackson?"
"Ignoring me." Briella says simply, "Or maybe it's the other way around. I'm not entirely sure. But he's been a little off these past few days."
"Maybe because he's an asshole."
"Zelda!" Ronald gasps not expecting that from her at all, "Where did that come from?"
"He literally told the Argents that Scott and I were werewolves." Zelda points out as a scowl appears on her face, "They would have found out eventually but he actually snitched."
"Dude, if you saw guns in your face you'd snitch." Ronald says remembering how he had gotten thrown around by the Argents. He could still feel it too. It was like he was bruised all over from the dang thing. His eyes fell on Briella, "Hey, how are you feeling by the way?"
"Hm?" Briella tilts her head to the side not entirely getting what he was asking, "What?"
"How are you feeling? Sore? Bruised? Pained?"
"Uh... I feel fine... I guess." She didn't entirely know how to answer since it wasn't like she was torn apart by Peter at all. It hurt like a bitch when he first threw her but now it didn't. "Not like I did when it happened."
