Zelda ended up sleeping at the animal clinic because she didn't exactly feel like leaving Scott. She woke up eventually since she was going to have to go to school at some point. She sat up when Scott woke up, swinging over the side of the slab.

"Scott!"

Deaton turned around from his work table to look at him, "Welcome back to the land of the conscious. You doing okay? Maybe you should sit down, huh?" The sound of the front door opening made everyone's heads turn in the direction, "Hello?"

Zelda and Scott grabbed Deaton at the same time, holding onto him tightly as they sensed the presence of Peter. But all Deaton did was smile at them and walk away.

"I'm sorry, but we're closed."

Zelda grabbed hold of her head and just squatted down, afraid of what was going to happen. She could hear them talking clear as day.

"Hi there. I'm here to pick up."

"I'm not sure I remember you dropping off."

"These two wandered in on their own."

"Even if they did, I'm afraid I can't help you-" Deaton's voice was beyond steady, "We're closed."

"Well, I think you can make an exception this one time, don't you?"

"I'm sorry. That's not going to be possible. Maybe you could come back during regular hours."

"You have something of mine. I'm here to collect it."

"Like I said-" Deaton repeated, "We're closed."

Silence filled the room, which only made Zelda and Scott stare at the opening. Then in an angered growl, "Mountain ash. That's an old one.

"Let me be as clear as possible." Deaton repeated to him again, slow and calm, "We are closed."

Zelda jumped when she heard something crash, she slowly stood up though but felt her heart stop when Peter spoke directly to them.

"There are others who can help me get what I want. More innocent and far more vulnerable."

At the same time, Scott and Zelda whisper, "Allison/Briella."

"Call it again."

"It's not here." Stiles threw his hands up in the air in exasperation, four of them standing in Zelda and Ronald's room, "Zelda must have lost your phone. Why don't you just get a new one?"

"I can't afford a new one." Scott grumbles.

"I'm so sorry." Zelda tells him, feeling absolutely terrible, "I must have dropped it after calling Briella last night."

"Damn it... we can't do this alone." Scott sighs, "We have to find Derek."

"Well, one-" Ronald chimed in, "You're not alone. You have me and Stiles. And, two, didn't you say Derek walked into gunfire?"
