Ronald tugged at the gear he had on, he didn't really do much sports other than soccer and some occasional flag football. So actually wearing the gear for lacrosse was weird and a little uncomfortable. He was walking onto the field after talking to the coach about joining practice to watch how the game works. So when they go through who goes on the first line or bench, he'd understand the game better.
"You look uncomfortable."
"I feel heavier with stuff on to be honest." Ronald admits to her, his eyes finding Briella sitting on the bleachers with Lydia and Allison. "I'm just sitting out anyway."
"Scott is playing." Zelda says, which makes Stiles' head shoot up in realization.
"But if you play, I'll have no one to talk to on the bench." Stiles shoved at him slightly as he complained, "Are you really gonna do that to your best friend?"
"I can't sit out again. My whole life is sitting on the sidelines. This season, I make first line." Scott explains to him, then looks at Zelda and Ronald, "Besides, they'll talk to you."
"They're not the same. They're new-"
"So get to know them."
"McCall!"
Scott pats Stiles on the shoulder before he runs off to talk to Coach. Stiles slowly turns to look at Zelda and Ronald, who both had their arms crossed over their chests. "Okay, look, we don't know each other well. So don't go being offended that I'm not exactly thrilled to be left with you two."
"Then we can play a fun game of twenty questions." Zelda suggests which causes Ronald and Stiles to look off at her in disdain. "Okay, give me another way we can get to know each other in a quick way?"
"I guess we can do that." Stiles grumbles as he stomps over to the bench.

Briella stretched her feet out onto the bleachers, she gave her friends a small wave when she noticed them sit on the bench.
"So, Briella, where did you move from?"
Startled, Briella looked over at Allison, "Uh... I'm from Sacramento."
"Oh, did you recently move here?"
"You can say that." Briella whispers.
Allison, growing perplexed, wonders why she seemed almost sad, "Why are you living with Jackson? Is he your cousin?"
"Allison, she's an orphan. Read the energy."
Allison's mouth opened in a small 'o' and she gave Briella a sympathetic look, "I'm sorry for being insensitive."
"No, you weren't. It's fine." Their conversation was interrupted when the Coach blew the whistle for practice to start.
Zelda covered her ears and curled her body forward, it was like a bomb went off or something. Her ears were practically ringing.
