Ch. 72: Nightmare Land

With Mega Man's world now purified, defeated Orre, failed to receive the Infinite Ruby there, and save their friends and rivals there, now our heroes journey on to the next world, hoping this time they could get their hands on the Infinite Ruby this time around. Now, they have reached their next world, corrupted by darkness. A funny-looking environment of nature everywhere, as well as other places too. Sonic, Shantae, and the rest try to get settled in after Falvia has taken them here.

"Alrighty then." Spyro said "Where are we now?"

The Team Of Heart And Hope takes a look around the environment, and it looks like they aren't familiar with this place.

"This, I can't be for sure." Shantae claims.

It wasn't long enough before Kirby moves up ahead of the others, and right away know what this place is, trying to tell his team he knows where they are. No doubt about of, the Team Of Heart And Hope have reached upon a place called Dream Land, in a planet called Pop Star. Or simply put it, the world of Kirby.

"Kirby," Shantae "Is this your home?"

Kirby nodded at Shantae, confirming this world is indeed his homeworld. Seeing Dream Land and all of Pop Star has fallen by the hands of Dark Sin has upset our pink, puffy hero, witnessing the damage he left behind. Shantae walks up and bends down to Kirby just to pat him on the head to comfort him.

"Don't worry Kirby!" Shantae said "I know we can save your home. If we can save Banjo and Kazooie, Spyro, and Mega Man's worlds, we can certainly save your world."

Kirby smiled at his leader, knowing he and the team can save his home the same way. The team now wondered where they should start, knowing that Dream Land is quite an oddball, unlike the three worlds the team has saved.

"Where should we go from here?" Asked Mega Man.

"Well Kirby?" Asked Shantae "This is your home. Any clue where we should start?"

Kirby takes a look around the environment of Dream Land. It didn't take Kirby long to know where he and the team should go. Our pink Star Warrior points the Team Of Heart And Hope all to the castle, home to his long-time rival, King Dedede. The team sees the castle Kirby is pointing at, far away from them.

"You sure that's where we should go?" Asked Sonic "Looks pretty far. Nothing that we can't handle of course."

Kirby nodded at Sonic, confirming that's where he and the rest should go. The team sees how far King Dedede's castle, seeing how they'll have to get through Dream Land's strangest environment, starting with the lifeless grassy territory being the Green Gardens, or just for this case, The Lifeless Gardens.

"It seems we'll have to get past the territory to get to the castle." Falvia assumes.

"Looks like you're right Falvia." Shantae agrees "Seem to be our best bet to take."

"Let's head to the garden." Falvia suggests "It seems to be an easy path to take."

Sonic, Shantae, and the rest of the team heads to the Lifeless Garden to start their quest to King Dedede's castle.

Now starting their quest in the garden, our heroes begin their quest in the gardens, just taking a walk for now to avoid any troubles. As the team walks down in the garden, Mega Man becomes concerned about Falvia about one thing that he and the team don't know yet. That being her own kind. Despite being the daughter of Dark Sin, she acts and looks nothing like her father's kind, making her kind quite questionable.

"Hey Falvia?" Asked Mega Man.

"Yes Mega Man?" Falvia responded, "What is it?"

"We never got to ask you. What exactly are you?"
