Ch. 29: Reptile Problem

With Banjo and Kazooie's home world now safe from Dark Sin's darkness and the team now upgraded themselves with the name known as The Team Of Heart And Hope with Sonic and Shantae as team leaders, our heroes comes back to Dark Sin's reality after clearing Banjo and Kazooie's home world and off to the next. Sonic and Shantae feels very paranoid to come back in this twisted dimension of Dark Sin.

"Man, I hate coming back here." Sonic admits "That jerk costed us enough trouble already! And he decides to give us more."

"Come on now," Shantae "we got to head over the next w-"

Right before Shantae could finish her sentence, she and the rest see all the other portals that takes them to their own worlds are gone. Shantae, Sonic, and the rest are shocked that the portals are gone.

"The portals!" Shantae shouted "They're gone!"

"But how could this happened?" Asked Sonic.

"I do." Mega Man speaks "Look what's between them! The crystal globes, they're gone. I believe that the only reason those portals are gone because those crystal globes are gone."

"Where could they be then?" Asked Spyro.

Mega Man turns on his sensor to find readings of some tracks that the suspect may have left behind. Mega Man is able to find a trail based on DNA, seeing it is leading him and the others out of the room they are in.

"I found a trail." Said Mega Man.

"Lead the way Mega Man!" Shantae requested "We need those globes so we can move on to restore our worlds and get those Rubies."

"Right." Mega Man agrees.

Mega Man now takes the lead to follow the trail of the suspect that stolen that crystal globes that activates the portals to the heroes' own worlds while the rest of the team follows him. The search lasted about 5 minutes later, and the trail has gone cold, leaving Mega Man and the rest trail-less, only leaving them in a large around hallway with pillars.

"What's a hold on?" Asked Spyro.

"The trail has gone cold." Said Mega Man "This is where it stops."

Sonic, Shantae, and the rest looks around for a path where this suspect could have taken. The only path that is available for the team to take is what in front of them in North. Kirby shows the team the path that is in front of them.

"You're right Kirby." Said Sonic "This jerk must have taken this path."

Mega Man continue to analyze area and found footprints of the suspect's DNA. It continues the trail towards North.

"Whoever we're dealing with now," Mega Man speaks "He headed this this way alright, just not on foot. Rather, on surroundings."

Mega Man stares at the walls between the area up North. Sonic, Shantae, and the others also looks at front, taking a look at the walls at well.

"Does that means this person is a crawler?" Asked Sonic.

"That's a possibility there." Sonic replies "I mean, we just kicked some shadow loser's butt, so I wouldn't be surprised if we're going to confront a another creep."

"Then let's get to it!" Shantae suggested "This who we're about to deal with has the crystal globes, and we need them back."

The team proceed to push forward to find the suspect who stole the crystal globes. As they push forward, they see a large door ahead, believe this suspect could be here.

"Think that person is in there." Banjo assumes.

"Only one way to find out." Sonic said.

The team reach to the large door, opens it to see they have now entered what seem to be a weapon storage, full of swords and Spears, leaving mainly the center empty. The team searches for the suspect. Kazooie begins to run her mouth and calls on the suspect.
