The Team Of Heart And Hope (DISCONTINUED)

Ch. 47: A Castle Break In

After leaving Gnasty Gnorc's island to hunt down Vortex to save Falvia and hope to get back the stolen Ruby, the Team Of Heart And Hope has made it back to Spyro's homeland Artisans safely, thanks to Lobster Siren's teleportation plates.

"We made it to Artisans." Banjo said "Uh, this is Artisans right Spyro?"

"It sure is Banjo." Spyro said "Well, at least it used to be."

"Nonsense Spyro!" Sonic said "This place is still your home. Dark Sin just happened to have bad taste in style."

"You're right about one thing Sonic." Spyro agrees "He really have bad taste in style, style on everything. And I'm not afraid to admit it."

"All right guys," Shantae said "to track down that yellow coat guy that took Falvia."

Shantae takes a look at the radar that Auto gave her, and the radar shows that she and her team are exactly at the right place where Vortex lay low here in Artisans. It points at the direction in West at her left. She turns to her left and finds the castle of Artisans in frozen ice. The others follows and are shocked to see the frozen castle too.

"The castle!" Shouted Spyro, running towards it.

Sonic, Shantae, and the rest follow Spyro as Spyro runs towards the frozen castle, just stopping at the main entrance. The others is able to catch up with Spyro a second later. Shantae takes a look at the radar again to make sure this is where Vortex is at, and the radar confirmed Vortex is here. 

"Well, this is the place." Shantae confirmed. 

Shantae and the rest takes a good look at the frozen that Vortex froze, seeing it in its icy stage. 

"That rotten, yellow coat jerk." Spyro referred to Vortex "He froze the castle up!" 

"Well, it's now a good time to kick this guy's butt and save Falvia." Sonic said. 

Banjo is the first to examine the main entrance door by touching and knocking on it. Basically, the door is frozen solid and feels very sturdy. 

 "This door is frozen solid fellows." Banjo said "Hard as rock." 

"Hard as Rock eh?" Asked Sonic "No biggie. We'll just smash our way in. Wanna try it Shantae?"

"Heh, I'm Ret-To-Go!" Shantae added "Breaking ice shouldn't be much a problem, and I got just the form."

Both Sonic and Shantae backs up to the edge of the wide, grassy platform, moving away about 15 feet. As the two leaders are 15 feet away from the door, Shantae begins her belly dance performance and transforms into a elephant.

"Let's do this!" Shantae said.

"After you Genie Lady." Sonic insisted.

Shantae thanks Sonic and goes on charging at the door. Sonic quickly charging up his Spin Dash, and goes charges at the door with Shantae, slamming into the castle door together, making the others takes cover and move out of the way. After the leaders slammed into the door, Mega Man, Rush, Kirby, Spyro, and Banjo and Kazooie uncovered to see if Sonic and Shantae slam the door down. They didn't. Instead, the two leaders are the one who gets slammed, getting their faces stuck on the solid ice. The results of charging through the ice have forced Shantae back to her normal form. From the inside of the ice, Sonic and Shantae got stuck on the solid ice for awhile, making funny faces of sticking their tongues out on the side, and making wide eyes. The two of them eventually slide down on the ice and drops on the ground, being seen by their team as they failed to break down the icy door.

"I don't think that work." Banjo said.

Both Sonic and Shantae rise up a little and shake their head for a moment. They witnessed their charging attacks didn't do anything to the solid ice door.
