Ch. 44: A Fight For Friends And Treasure

Back inside of the lair of Gnasty Gnorc's, under the control of Zavok, Acid Man, and Marx together, Shantae, Mega Man, Kirby, and Spyro are now about to have a battle against the baddest boys around in order to save Sonic and the rest from their nasty prison and retrieve the Infinite Ruby from them. Zavok, Acid Man, and Marx are getting ready to start this battle. 

"I have been waiting for this moment." Said Zavok "Prepare yourselves fools. Your time has come."

"I disagree you ugly mugged demon!"

Shantae attempts to attack first by about to hit Zavok with a strong hair whip. Surprisingly, Zavok caught Shantae's large purple hair with his own bare hands, catching Shantae by surprise as she was not expecting that move from Zavok. 

"I'm no mere demon." Zavok claims. 

Zavok pulls Shantae in and gives her a head bash, pushed her back to her team, collapsing them all. Marx turns back up to Sonic and the others trapped in goo, and summons many thin vines around, prevent Shantae, Mega Man, Kirby, or Spyro from reaching them and freeing them without getting past Zavok, Acid Man, or Marx first. Shantae and her team rise up seconds after fallen down by Zavok when she headbutted Shantae and slammed her into her teammates. 

"Time to meet your death doors!" Marx said. 

Zavok, Acid Man, and Marx begins the fight with a charging impact, running towards Shantae, Mega Man, Kirby, and Spyro. Our heroes now begins the fight with them starting with Mega Man and Kirby freezing the ground frozen solid to catch their enemies off edges. The plans worked out well on Zavok and Acid Man, causing them to slip and slides on the frozen ground. However, it was futile on Marx since he was charging at our heroes by flying in mid air. Shantae and her team moved out of the way to avoid their enemies, mainly Marx. After Marx missed, Mega Man begins to shoot down Marx with his ice bullets, hoping to hit him. Unfortunately, Marx speedy flight help avoid Mega Man's projectiles. Marx attacks the heroes with a psychic wave. Spyro burns up the wave with his fire breath, protecting his teammates.

"Thought we won't expect that attack an second time did ya?" Asked Spyro. 

"Maybe." Acid Man said in the distance "But this one you won't expect!" 

Zavok and Acid Man attacks our heroes from behind, only missing Kirby in the attack. Zavok have Shantae and Spyro pinned down and Acid Man with Mega Man, holding them down. 

"Not so powerful after are you pitiful fools?" Asked Zavok. 

Kirby helps out his team by attacking Zavok head on, making him to get off of Shantae and Spyro. Zavok see he is fighting a small pink blob with red shoes and an ice hat. 

"What's a puny insect is doing to do against Zavok?'' He asked. 

Zavok attempts to pounds Kirby on the ground like a pancake. But Kirby quickly dodged his attack and then preform a spin in the face. Kirby then freeze his hand solid and punched Zavok with a chilly effort. Zavok felt pressured by Kirby regarding on his size and appearance. 

"Puny runt!" Zavok referred to Kirby "I'll flatten you like a marshmallow you are."

Even before Zavok could attack Kirby, a fire ball hits Zavok to distract him, keeping him away from Kirby. That fireball is from Shantae, her way of returning the favor by taking a turn to hit Zavok for real. 

"Thanks for the help Kirby," Shantae added "but it's my turn now!" 

Shantae preforms her small dance and transforms into a spider. Shantae turns around and fires a string of web from her bulb at Zavok, sticking to him. She yanked herself and tackled on Zavok to take him on. Seeing Up in the air, Marx sees Acid Man dealing with Mega Man and Spyro, and Zavok dealing with Shantae and Kirby. Marx helps out his boss by tackling onto Kirby, separating him from Shantae.
