I would say I'm sorry
If I thought that it would change your mind
I was sitting around in the boys' room, sandwiched between Oboro and Hizashi. I was still ignoring Shouta somewhat, because I was still a little annoyed, even though he was probably right and I would have gotten hurt earlier. It was just kind of embarrassing, having to be saved like that in front of everyone. I mean I didn't have a good plan to defend myself, but still. It kinda sucked.
The other girls were slowly coming over - obviously at this point we didn't all go in a big group, because that would have been too suspicious. I glanced over at Shouta. He was sprawled out on his bed and seemed to be fast asleep. Oboro had told me that he had gone for a power nap right after lunch and hadn't woken up since. He was still breathing, though, so he wasn't dead.
I needed to apologize to him soon about getting so annoyed earlier. I hated not talking to Shouta, especially about such a dumb thing. And he looked so cute and peaceful, just lying there, one arm under his pillow and his knees pulled up to his chest. He wasn't frowning for once.
"So. We're all here. And tonight we're going to be playing a fusion of Spin the Bottle and Seven Minutes in Paradise, so everyone get in a circle!" one of the girls from class B announced with a big smile. Hold on, what? They were about to lock us in a closet for seven minutes with a random person? Shit.
Hizashi was waking up Shouta, who looked groggy beyond belief. His hair was messier than usual, but he just dragged himself over to the circle. Someone threw a plastic bottle in the middle of our circle.
"Who's spinning first?" the girl asked. Shit, shit, shit, I didn't wanna go first. Thankfully, Yuki grabbed the bottle first and spun it with a smirk on her face. It landed on Sensoji of all people. Well, at least that meant they were out of the game. Yuki seemed quite pleased with that development and so was I, to be honest. I really didn't want to be locked in a closet with either of them.
"Ooooh, well, off to the closet with you, too!" the girl from class B squealed, as Sensoji grabbed Yuki's arm and they disappeared for the next seven minutes. Conversation picked up again quickly, but there was just a weird awkward atmosphere in the room. Why did I agree to come here?
"Man, I'm glad those two are out of the way." Oboro said and sighed with relief. Shouta seemed to only now just wake up completely.
"What exactly is going on?" he asked, his voice sounding groggy.
"They're doing Seven Minutes in Paradise." Hizashi informed him. Shouta rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Alright, I'm out of here..." he mumbled and was about to get up, but Oboro held him down quickly.
"Hey, Shou, where do you think you're going? We're all in this together, so you better sit down and wait your turn." he told him. Shouta muttered something under his breath and sat back down again, frowning at people.
"I don't even talk to people, what makes you think I want to be locked in a closet with them to make out with them?" Shouta complained.
"Woah, woah, woah, no one said you had to make out with them. Although I don't see why anyone would pass up the opportunity..." Hizashi commented. I glanced back at the closet. Half their time was over.
"I mean, I doubt you can really keep your distance in there..." I said. I was suddenly getting nervous. I really hoped I got someone who wasn't too bad. Wasn't there someone in here who had a telekinesis quirk? Could I bribe them?
