I just want someone to say to me, oh

I'll always be there when you wake, yeah

When I woke up the next morning, I felt like shit. Oboro had let us in in the middle of the night and had lent us some dry clothes and a bunch of warm blankets, but we were both too tired to take a hot shower and that was probably our mistake. Every single bone in my body hurt when I woke up and my throat felt sore.

My face was nuzzled against Shouta's back and Oboro had his arm draped around both of us. We all had a futon each, but Oboro's place was small, so whenever anyone was staying over, they ended up cuddling in some way. I didn't mind, it was pretty comforting to be able to be so close and comfortable with someone. And Oboro sure didn't mind, he was a hugging kind of person, anyway.

As I moved a little, Oboro groaned and just turned around and continued sleeping. I propped myself up on my elbows. Everything really did hurt. Badly. Why did we not bring towels? God, Shouta and I were so stupid.

I looked down at him. He almost looked like he was dead. His face was pale and his hair had dried weirdly and was going off in all kinds of weird directions. I moved a few stray strands of hair out of his face, which seemed to have woken him up. His eyelids fluttered open and he seemed a little confused as to where he was.

"Hey." I said quietly, my voice sounding hoarse. Maybe talking wasn't a good idea. Shouta seemed to relax a little seeing me there and realizing he was at Oboro's place. He turned around to lay on his back.

"Hi." he replied.

"Do you feel like shit, too?" I asked. My arms started hurting from supporting my weight. Why had Oboro not forced us to take a hot shower right away?

"Yeah. We really shouldn't have walked back all the way to Oboro's. What the hell were we thinking?" Shouta replied.

"I don't think we were thinking much." I said and sighed. I felt my stomach tingling when I thought back to last night. I smiled and turned my head to the side to look at Shouta, catching him while he was looking at me.

"Whatcha looking at?" I wanted to know, grinning at him.

"You." he admitted without even looking away or blushing or getting flustered. I grinned and raised an eyebrow.

"And? Like what you see?"

"You kinda look like shit."

That had not been the answer I was expecting. But it was probably true. I definitely felt like shit. Next to me, I heard Oboro quietly chuckling. How long had he been awake? It was almost like he was still trying to pretend to be asleep. But him laughing was contagious, so I started chuckling, too.

"You're a dick, Shou." I replied, still giggling.

"You didn't even let me finish. I still think you're cute, even though you look like shit." he muttered.

"Nice save, Shouta." Oboro commented, still acting like he was asleep. Maybe he was trying to get back to sleep.

"You know, no one buys you being asleep anymore, Oboro." I said to him, voice still raspy. I knew I was going to catch the worst cold in my life and there was nothing I could do about it. Oboro rolled over.

"Well, I just didn't wanna disturb you two lovebirds. So, do you wanna get showers first or do you wanna tell me all about why you were standing in front of my door in the middle of the night soaking wet? Or how about showering together? The three of us would fit." Oboro replied, as he sat up and looked at us with his signature grin. He really was enjoying the prospect of having a good story to tell. Not that he had that many people to tell it to. Except Hizashi.

"Not happening, Oboro." Shouta replied gloomily. Oboro laughed and rolled his eyes, as if he was offended.

"You're boring, Shou. Hey, (F/N), if you ever get bored of him, you know where to go." he said with a suggestive wink. I laughed. Oboro was a dumbass, but he was a very lovable dumbass.

"I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon." I answered and smiled at Shouta who finally seemed to be awake enough to get flustered.

"How about we don't do all that cheesy stuff?" he said quietly.

"Sounds like a good plan to me." I agreed. I definitely had a romantic streak in me, but not too much.

"Pfft, you two won't be able to stick to that..." Oboro commented and got up to boil some water. Honestly, a warm cup of tea seemed like just the right thing now. Anything to warm up a little.

"So. What happened last night?" he asked, leaning against the kitchen counter. I had gotten up from my futon, the blanket still wrapped around me, because I still felt pretty cold. I sat up, leaning against the wall.

"We met up and went to the pool." I replied.

"You didn't get caught, did you?" Oboro wanted to know. Shouta rolled his eyes from where he was still lying.

"Of course not. Do we look dumb to you?" he said.

"A little. You looked dumber last night." Oboro answered, blunt and honest as ever. He started eating some leftover food that was still on his kitchen counter. I was surprised he hadn't gotten sick from doing that yet. He hadn't even heated that up and who knew how old it was?

"So. You broke into a pool for a nice swim. That all? Why did you get here all wet? Did you lose your towel or something?" Oboro inquired further, pouring the boiling water into a teapot.

"We... uh..." I started, scratching the back of my neck and blushing a little. This was pretty embarrassing.

"We didn't bring one." Shouta answered for me.

"Why would you not bring a towel when you're going swimming?" Oboro wanted to know while he brought the tea over to us. I was honestly grateful that Oboro was such a mum friend. He was always there when someone was upset, he was always the one to go to when we needed advice and he always had everything at hand.

Forgot your notebook for class? No problem, Oboro has an extra one. Forgot to bring a bottle of water to training? Oboro's got your back. Forgot to bring a towel to your swimming pool break-in? Oboro's got a nice warm apartment to go to, surely he won't mind if we show up in the middle of the night.

"It wasn't like we decided not to bring a towel. We just forgot." Shouta said, as he sat up and sipped on his cup of tea.

"Wow. I would have expected that from Hizashi, but not from you guys. I thought you were smarter than this." Oboro commented, as he handed me my cup of tea. It felt so good just to hold the warm cup in my hands.

"Yeah, well. Sorry to disappoint you." I said to him and took a sip of tea. It was amazing. Oboro had put some honey in it. I kept the tea in my mouth, just to savour the taste and warmth of it for longer.

"So, did you make out or what?" Oboro asked next. I almost choked on my tea and started coughing violently.

"Yeah." Shouta just said and shrugged. I was still coughing and gasping for breath. The two boys were giving me concerned looks.

"Are you... okay?" Shouta asked. I nodded quickly.

"I'm fine, I... I think I'm gonna get that shower, now..."
