Matt's POV: As I came back from dropping Violet off at school, I walked in and took off my mask. Looking at Gabby as she sat on the couch, I smiled when I saw her. "So, apparently...our nieces and nephews all go to the same school." Gabby turned to look at me. "Really?" I nodded. "I saw Laura at school dropping Eva and Diego off." Gabby nodded as I took off my jacket and shoes. I then walked over to her after locking the door before smiling. "Can I get on?"
She nodded before opening the covers and moving over on the couch. Wrapping my arm around her, I smiled as I put my hand on her arm. Feeling her hand on my chest, I smiled as I kissed her forehead softly before tugging the covers up. "You sleep okay last night? You were tossing and turning most of the night." She sighed as she put her head on my shoulder. "I am still worried. I mean, Matteo is literally 2 months old and now this is happening."
I nodded before kissing her forehead again, trying to calm her down. "Let's look on the bright side. We are here, at home together where we are safe." Gabby nodded, liking that fact when I went to grab the TV remote, changing the channel to something more enjoyable. Gabby glared at me. "I was watching the news." I turned my head to look at her. "Right now, you need rest. You need to relax and not be stressed. Gabby, please trust me when I say this."
Gabby nodded and smiled. "I always trust that you have my best interests in mind when you recommend I do something. So, I'll take you at your word when you say it's for my benefit." I smiled when she said that before going to kiss her softly. "Listen, we have some recordings to watch anyways. Want to do another dateline mystery game?" Gabby shook her head. "I want to watch a normal tv show. Just put it on TLC or something. There has to be something on."
I nodded and agreed before grabbing the remote and putting it on a channel so that Gabby and me could relax while watching some TV.
