DRACO'S POV

She could barely speak. I carried a bloody and beaten Camilla in my arms as I ran towards the burrow. I was in so much pain myself from the cruciatus curse but I had to save her. "Potter!" I screamed as I ran. Blood covered her face. She had a split lip, bruises, a black eye, and I could see more cuts and bruises on her arms and legs. "Potter!" I shouted again. Then I saw him run outside. "What are you doing here?" he asked.  Then he saw Camilla in my arms and his face fell. "What happened?" he asked. "Her bloody father." I said as he led me inside. "Lay her down." he said pointing to the couch. I laid her on the couch and Harry went to get Molly. Hermione, Ron and Ginny ran in and froze. "Bloody hell." Ron gasped. Hermione knelt in front of her and shook her gently. "Cam? Cam, wake up" she said. Tears pricked in the corners of her eyes. I stared at my hands and they were covered in blood and trembling. Molly came rushing in. "Oh dear, what happened?" she asked. "Her father. He let the death eaters beat her up." I said. Molly began to cast a diagnostic, and clean her wounds. Harry pulled me to the side. "Did they- you know, do anything else?" he asked. He knew. "No. I got her out before it happened." I said. He nodded. Molly finished helping Cam who laid there unconscious. "Is she going to be ok?" I said. "Yes. Are you alright? Are you hurt at all?" she asked. I shook my head. "But there's blood on you." Ron said. "It's not mine." I said. "Can I just cast a diagnostic just in case?" Molly asked. I shrugged. She waved her wand and gasped. "The cruciatus curse. Why didn't you say anything? She asked in shock. "I'm fine. I don't need help." I said. "You should be standing, you need rest." Molly said. "I said I'm fine. Camilla told me to bring her to Harry because he knows what to do. That's the only reason I'm here." I snapped. Then I walked out. I tried to catch my breath. I loosened my tie and sat down. I wanted to scream. All I could think about was the sound of her cries as they beat her and the sight of me holding her and her eyes closing. My chest was constricting and just kept seeing those gorgeous brown eyes close. "Malfoy!" I heard Harry call out and walk over to me. "Piss off Potter, I'm so not in the mood to deal with you right now." I spat. "What is your problem? Molly is nice enough to help Camilla and she just wanted to help you." he asked. "Because I don't need help from that blood traitor." I yelled. We stood toe to toe and I stared him down. Ginny walked outside and pulled at Harry. "Just leave it Harry. He's not worth it." she said. "Listen to your girlfriend Potter." I said. Their cheeks turned red. "Why do you always have to be such a dick? All we want to do is help." he said. "Because I don't deserve it." I screamed. He froze and his face was full of concern. "What?" he asked. "It's my fault. I asked Camilla to stay at Hogwarts with me. She was supposed to come to the burrow with you guys right?" I said. He nodded. "Her father only approved that because he wants her to get close to you. She refuses to help him. Anyway Nathan found out we stayed. He took us to Riddle Manor. Voldemort tortured me and I couldn't move. I couldn't stop them from hurting her." I said, my voice cracked. "It's not your fault." Ginny said. "Yes it is. You have no idea what it's like seeing that. I could hear her screaming. She was calling for me and I couldn't help her." I said. A tear fell to my cheek and I quickly wiped it away and turned around to face away from them. "I'm sorry Draco." Ginny said. I just stood there. "She's awake!" Hermione called out. She stood in the doorway and I ran inside. Camilla's eyes were finally open.

CAMILLA'S POV

Draco dropped to his knees in front of me and took my hand. "Cam, can you hear me?" he asked. I smiled and looked into his bluish silver eyes. "Yeah." I said weakly. "Are you ok? Does anything hurt?" I asked. She shook her head. "I'm sorry." she choked out. Tears fell down her face and I wiped them away. "It's alright love. You're safe now. Everythings ok." he said. I shook my head. "No, it isn't. They weren't done." I said. He furrowed his brow. "What? What do you mean?" he asked. "They weren't done. With my punishment. It's not over." I said. I knew my father would make Nathan finish the job. As long as he didn't hurt Draco, I didn't care. "It's ok, I'll protect you. I'm so sorry Cam." he said. I moved the blonde hair from his face and smiled. "I love you." I said. He gave me a small smile. "I love you too." he whispered. Then Harry walked in. "Harry, I'm sorry. I know-" I started. He sat down next to me. "It's ok. You came to me, that's all I asked." he said. I nodded. "Did Molly heal you Draco?" I asked. He shook his head. "I'm fine." he said. "No you aren't. I know how the cruciatus can affect you. If you aren't healed properly it can have permanent damage." I said. "I'm more focused on you." he said. "And I'm focused on you." I said. He rolled his eyes. "Mrs. Weasley!" I called out. The kind woman came into the room smiling. "Are you alright dear?" she asked. I nodded. "Could you please take a look at Draco? My father used the cruciatus curse on him." I said. "Draco dear, it will only take a second." she said. He just nodded. She healed him and he came back over. "We should get back to Hogwarts." Draco said. I nodded. I thanked Mrs. Weasley and said goodbye to my friends. Draco stood outside and I hugged Harry. "Just be careful." he said. "I'll see you in 2 days. I'll be fine." I said. He nodded and I walked over to Draco. I took his hand and we appeared. We landed in his dorm and I hit the floor. "Careful Cam," he said, helping me up. We got changed and I climbed into his bed. "Are you ok?" he asked. I nodded. "Mrs. Weasley healed me up just fine." I said. "I didn't mean physically. You were terrified in that house. I could tell." he said. I laid in his arms and found comfort in his warmth. "I'm fine. I have you." I said. He nodded. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah." he said. "Was that the first time you've ever been tortured?" I asked. "No." he said. "Oh." I said sadly. "We're both fine now. Just go to sleep." he said. I nodded and dozed off. I was in his arms, I was safe. For now.
