TIME JUMP: 1 DAY

CAMILLA'S POV

I was sitting in the library with Hermione, Ron and Harry and studying for our OWLs. Well more accurately, Hermione and I were studying. Ron and Harry were just goofing off. "Right Cam?" Ron asked. I looked up and they were all looking at me. "Huh? Oh yeah, right." I said. I had no idea what they were talking about. "You weren't paying attention were you?" Harry asked. "No, sorry. What did I just agree to?" I asked. "You're going to let Ronald cheat off you during our exams." Hermione said. I rolled my eyes. "Ok, I'll take it back. No Ron, you can't cheat off me." I said. He groaned. "Why don't you just let Mione help you study?" I asked. "Because she's a control freak." he mumbled. "Am not!" she exclaimed. "You kinda are Hermione." Harry said. She scoffed. "Whether I am or not doesn't matter. I got the highest marks in our year, so it seems to work in my favor. Don't you think so?" she said. "She's got a point." Harry said.

"Look who just came in." Harry whispered. I turned around and saw Nathan. My mark started to burn. I pressed my wand to my skin and whispered the spell. Nathan saw me and walked over. "Camilla. We need to talk." he said. Harry looked at me with concern and shook his head. "I'm studying Nathan." I said. "I wasn't asking. Let's go." he snapped. I sighed and packed my books. "Cam, you don't-" Harry started. "I'll be ok." I said. Then I followed Nathan out. My heart started to race as we walked down the halls and into an empty classroom. I walked inside and he shut the door. Blaise was leaning against the wall smirking. I tried to turn around but he blocked it.

"What do you want Nathan?" I asked. "You didn't miss me, princess?" Blaise taunted. I ignored him. "That's not polite Camilla. Answer him." Nathan said. I exhaled a shaky breath and looked at him. "No. I didn't miss you." I said. He gave a fake pouty face. "Nathan, please. What do you want from me?" I asked. He glared at me and grabbed my throat, slamming me against the door. "How many times do I have to tell you about how you speak to me?" he spat. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Ok?" I said. He let go and I fell to the floor, coughing. "Father wants to know if you accept," he said. I stood up and looked at him. "No." I said. He rolled his eyes at me. "There's no use in fighting it, Camilla. You will serve him. I don't know why you insist on making it so difficult for yourself." he said. "Because I have a reason to." I said. He looked at me strangely. "I have friends. People who care about me. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny....Draco. They all actually care about me. Father just wants to use me. Like he uses you." I said. "Shut up," he said. "Once he gets what he wants or you are no longer useful, he'll kill you." I said. "Shut up!" Nathan said. "It doesn't matter that we are his children." I said. "Shut up!" he yelled. He threw me to the floor and drew his wand. "Do what you please Nathan. You can hurt me all you want. It won't change anything." I said.

"Crucio!" he yelled. The pain exploded through my body and I screamed. I screamed and thrashed on the floor. I lost track of how long it went but I knew it was longer than he's ever done it before. Eventually it stopped. He knelt down next to me and grabbed my chin. "This isn't over." he spat. Then he and Blaise walked out. I laid on the floor, panting for breath as sweat dripped down my back. My vision was blurry and tears streamed down my cheeks. It's never over.

I mustered up enough energy and began to drag myself down the halls. I got to the Gryffindor common room and it was relatively empty. I tried to make it to my room but I got dizzy. The next thing I knew, I hit the floor. The room was spinning and I coughed blood. It dripped down the side of my face and head hurt. "Bloody hell!" Dean said. He dropped down next to me and called Seamus over. "What the fuck happened?" Seamus asked. "Get Harry" I said. Then it went dark.

NATHAN'S POV

She crossed the line. She has no idea. Father has plans for me. I'm going to serve him and I'm going to be powerful. She thinks she knows, she's wrong. He would never do anything to me. I decided to fill him in on her little speech. Besides, he might know what to do. How to fix it.

I apparated home and walked through the gates. "Father!" I called out. I walked through the house and found him. "Nathan, to what do I owe this unannounced pleasure?" he asked. I bowed my head. "I apologize father, for not letting you know I was coming. It wasn't planned. I was hoping you could help me with Camilla." I said. He sighed. "Very well. I would hate for my plans to be derailed by her foolishness." he said. I nodded. "I tried to get her to agree. To agree to serve you. She won't." I said. "What is her reasoning?" he asked. "Her friends. Pathetic if you ask me." I said. He nodded. "It's become clear that Potter and his band of goons won't abandon her. But..." I started. "But what?" he asked. "It's her and the Malfoy boy. If I could get him to abandon her, she would certainly break. She would most definitely come back to you." I said. He smirked. "I agree. But you can't just split them up. That obviously didn't work with the Diggory boy." he said. "That's true." I said. "I have an idea..." he said.
