CAMILLA'S POV

I stared at him in horror. "I- how could you? You let this- you caused this?" I asked. He just laughed. "I hate you." I said. "No, you don't. Here's one more memory." he said. "Legilimens" then I saw more...

Then I saw myself, standing next to him in the hospital wing. Then he spoke. "You could never fully hate me," he said. "Yes, I could." I lied. "No, you couldn't. Admit it. You could never fully hate me. Part of you will always love part of me. Admit it, Camilla." he said.
I could feel it and he was right.

"Remember that one?" he asked. I stared at him. "That's not real. You- you made that up. It's a trick." I said. "You wish it wasn't real," he said. I pulled against the ropes and tried to break free. "Fine. You showed me- the memories. Just let me go." I said. He laughed. "So you can run back and fuck Potter. I don't think so." he said. My heart started to race and I started struggling. "Let me go!" I screamed. He tutted. "Poor Camilla. Never thinking things through. Pathetic." he said. I glared at him. "What do you want from me?" I asked. "I want you to suffer," he said. "Crucio" and the spell hit me.

I screamed as I felt pain tear through my body. Hot white knives sunk into my flesh and I gasped for air. The pain got more and more intense and I was almost about to faint when someone burst through the door. The spell broke and I saw Draco and Blaise holding him back. "I tried to stop him- he just-" Blaise started. Nathan simply raised his hand and he stopped.

"What are you doing to her? You gave me a month so I still have a week. You said-" he started. What is he talking about? "Calm down, Draco. This isn't because of you. Not yet, at least." he said. "Then let her go," he said. Nathan looked at me and grinned. "Do you want to tell him or should I?" he said. My heart stopped. "Tell me what?" Draco said frantically. "She's not suffering for you. She's suffering for Potter." he said. Draco looked at me, I could see the fear in his eyes. "She's in love with him," he said. Draco's face dropped. "I told you she would never forgive you. You're the villain in her story, and she chose the hero." he said. Draco just stared at me. His eyes watered and he looked at me. "You see, Camilla. Draco still loved you. He knew you didn't remember. He was going to remember for the both of you. His love for you is what was the word...." Nathan asked. Draco didn't break eye contact with me as he spoke. "Undying" he said.

Then he held out his hand. He conjured a dagger and Blaise and Nathan immediately drew their wands. "What do you think you're doing?" Nathan snapped. Draco walked towards me holding the dagger and I braced myself. Then he simply cut the ropes and helped me up. "This doesn't change anything," he said. Nathan scoffed. "You're right. That means you have a week. 1 week. Don't disappoint." he said. Draco simply nodded and we walked out. He shut the door and we walked to his room. I didn't speak and neither did he. He sat me down on his trunk at the foot of his bed and got his healing kit. Then he ran a diagnostic and started to study it. "Draco, say something. Please." I said. He looked at me and smiled. "It's ok. I want you to be happy, even if it's not with me. Even if it's with him." he said. My eyes watered and I just nodded. "I do need to know something," he said. "What?" I asked. "Why haven't you told Potter that I'm a death eater?" he asked. "I would never do that." I said. "Why?" he asked. "Because I don't want you to get hurt." I said plainly. He looked at me curiously. "I need to take you back to Gryffindor. But if I take you back like this, Potter will kill me." he said. "It's fine. I can go back by myself." I said. He just nodded. I stood up and looked at him. "I'm sorry. I just don't remember." I said. He just smiled. "I know," he said. Then I left. When I got back to the common room, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Dean and Seamus were pacing and arguing, and talking and freaking out. "Camilla!" Harry yelled. Everyone turned and ran over. They started talking over each other and Hermione pulled me towards the couch. "So worried" "Abandoned" "Are you ok?" "Alone" "Where were you?" "You can't do this!" "We were freaking out," They all said. "I'm sorry!" I said. Harry sat down next to me and everyone went quiet. "Where were you?" he asked calmly. "I was with Nathan." I said. Everyone freaked out again until Harry spoke. "Enough!" he yelled. He grabbed my hand and led me to his room. "We need to talk in private. Everyone stay here and do something productive" Harry shouted. Then he shut his door. He turned to face me with a look of concern. "What were you thinking? Why did you ditch Seamus?" he asked. "I needed to talk to him. To ask him for my memories back." I said. Harry sighed. "Camilla, that's mad." he said. "I needed to try." I said. "Did he hurt you?" he asked. I shook my head. "Camilla, don't lie to me," he said. "He used the cruciatus curse, but I'm fine." I said. Harry grabbed a pain potion and handed it to me. I drank it and continued with you. "Why?" he asked. I looked at him. "I thought- I thought I needed my memories back so I could know if I was in love with you." I said. His face dropped. "Oh" he said.

"But I was wrong." I said. He looked at me in confusion. "I didn't need memories to know." I said. "What are you saying?" he asked. "My father spent the whole summer trying to change my memories so I would hate you or be afraid of you. But he can't. From the second I saw you on the train, I saw your green eyes and I wasn't afraid. I wasn't afraid because everytime I look into those eyes, I feel safe. I know I'm safe. And for the first time in my life, I feel like I can take a breath." I said. His eyes watered. "I don't need to remember everything because... I remember you." I said. He smiled. "I-I love you." I stammered. "I love you too, Camilla." he said.

Then he kissed me.
