"Well you need a dress y/n." Sirius confessed, "Well of course, but I wasn't expecting a ball.." I laughed, "It's a masked ball." Sirius beamed, "I've always wanted to go to one!" I exclaimed. "Well follow me." Sirius beamed while taking hold of my hand and directing me through the hallways. We arrived to the ballroom, large white pillars surrounded with gold detailing, large windows all around. "The windows are bewitched. Of course because our place doesn't have this beautiful of a view." He smiled, "This place is gorgeous." I said as we walked out to the middle of the ballroom floor and walked until we were directly under the grand chandelier. He pulled me tight to his chest as we slowly swayed in the silence, he hummed in attempt to fill the silence. I buried my head into his chest, he was my comfort. "Love is gross." Regulus chimed while standing at the door way and Sirius laughed while I flipped him off, "Mother told me to tell you James is coming." Regulus said with a small smile, "James? Like my best friend ! Like James Fleamont Potter?" Sirius exclaimed. "No other, James." Regulus giggled sarcastically. Sirius turned to me cupping my face with both hands and shaking my head "James is coming! James is coming!" He grinned. Merlin he's a child.

"We need to find you a dress and a mask." He inquired, "We do." I agreed, "Follow me." He said while leading me upstairs towards what I presumed was the master bedroom, "Mother, we need to find y/n a dress and a mask." Sirius smiled, "Oh, I already bought her a gown and mask." She grinned, "Oh wonderful," Sirius beamed and I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not. "It is in Regulus' room." She smiled before shooing us away.
"Why Regulus' room?" I asked while we walked towards Regulus' room, "Because his room is bigger." Sirius complained while we walked into Regulus' room "Where's y/n' dress?" Sirius asked, "In my closet." Regulus groaned while shoving his face back into a pillow. "Aha!" I heard Sirius say from down the hall while walking out with a gorgeous black dress and a black mask."You better try it on and show us." Regulus insisted and I took the dress from Sirius and walked into the closet to get changed, the dress had a slit and shimmered in the light. It was stunning. I adjusted the straps and walked out to see both Sirius and Regulus mouths open wide, "It looks .." Regulus began, "Gorgeous." Sirius finished Regulus' sentence while trying to hide me from Regulus. "Mother did well." Regulus added, "She did indeed." Sirius smiled.
There was a sudden knock at the door snd Sirius jumped up and down like a little boy getting candy, "James?" He exclaimed with a big grin on his face, "It's your mother, Sirius. James is at the front door." Walburga stated in a stern tone, she truly was hard to read, I couldn't tell if she was happy, upset, mad, all of the above? Sirius dashed out of Regulus' room running down the stairs and hugging James, "James!" Sirius exclaimed, "Sirius." James croaked while being held right by Sirius, "Sirius, I'll be with Regulus." I laughed before walking back into Regulus' room as I don't think I totally wanted to be near the two of them, they are both insane.
"Your back so soon?" Regulus laughed before moving over on his bed, I sat down beside him, "Those two together give me a headache." I teased, "No no, your not wrong, I bet we will hear singing in like twenty minutes coming from Sirius' room." Regulus chuckled. I laid my head on Regulus' shoulder, "I want tea." Regulus demanded, "Me too." I smiled while we ran towards the kitchen.

That twenty minutes passed, and we heard the singing that Regulus was talking about. It was horrible. I'm quite sure I heard one of them with some sort of flute and it sounded chaotic. Sirius eventually came and forced me to come hang out with James and him and it was ...interesting. They planned more for the map and they brainstormed plenty pranks including putting blue hair dye into Peters hair products. "Do you think he showers?" James asked, "Well.. I've never thought about it.." Sirius thought aloud, "I sure hope so." I laughed, "What- what if we put the muggle hair removal product into snivellus' shampoo." James beamed, "That's cruel!" I chuckled while lightly hitting James in the chest, "It's good, but wouldn't Lily hate you?" Sirius said, "I mean I don't think she could hate you anymore then she already does," Sirius added. "Oh shut it!" James complained, "You know what! She will love me someday! Everyone loves me, I'm handsome.. I'm rich. I'm smart," James was running out of ideas, "I'm fucking hilarious, I throw amazing parties, I have an invisibility cloak for merlins sake!" James laughed. "You have a girlfriend, and all you've got going is your rich." James said, "And I'm the most attractive in the school." Sirius added, "and everyone loves me." Sirius smiled, "Especially her." Sirius smiled while pointing to me. "I'm going and hanging out with Regulus." I smiled before getting up and going towards the door, "No stay." Sirius smiled, "Yes my one and only darling love! Stayy." James mimicked and Sirius ran and jokingly threatened to punch James and that's when I turned around and left.

Next chapter will be the balll, sorry this was kind of short it was just a filler, I'll also give some inspo photos for the dress and mask etc..
