Chapter 24
Do not worry

Y/n POV

"What the hell is going on?" The group asked as we were surrounded by this mysterious group.
"Mm nice question." One of the cloaked people began. "What do you guys want?" James asked, "Great question Potter." The cloaked person laughed, "Why the fuck do you know my name?" James mumbled. "All of your names are familiar to us." One of the the cloaked individuals exclaimed. "We have Black on the right side, Potter in the middle, Lupin to the left side, Pettigrew cowering in the back, L/n in the front and new boy.. Laurier." The cloaked person laughed to them self.

"Oh don't flatter yourselves. We know every student at this pathetic school. We've made up a list of who to kill first, your little friend Ms Evans has made it quite high on our list." The cloaked person chuckled. What the hell is happening.
Someone slap me. Tell me this is a nightmare.

James attempted to push past me, but Remus grabbed his arm before James could make a dumb mistake. James was so in love with Lily, and everyone with a set of eyes could see it, James would sacrifice himself if that meant Lily could live. You would assume 'arrogant, rich, full of himself, douche bag.' Wouldn't do that for anyone, but for Lily he would go to any length for her.

"L/n, Potter, Black and Laurier you four should be safe due to your blood status, so sad Lupin and Pettigrew. Your parents are bloody fools." Another cloaked person laughed,
"Oh shut it!" I yelled, I felt Elio squeeze my hand and I realized he was trying to tell me to stop talking. Something had to be done. We couldn't just stand here and let them corner us, especially when Lily's life is on the line.

"Wands." I whispered, and luckily none of the masked people had heard, "3.. 2.. 1." I whispered and we all spread out after that, and I fired a spell at the dumb cloaked individual who made the remark about Lily. Catching him off guard and he fell to the ground with a thud. There were vivid flashes of light coming from every direction. What had we gotten ourselves into.

"Expelliarmus!" I yelled as a wand flew from the cloaked persons hand, and I turned to the next figure. I yelled, but the cloaked individual thought faster and cast a spell at me, which I quickly blocked just in time and shot another spell at the cloaked person. This duel dragged on far too long, and despite the fact that most of the masked figures began to back away, I was still battling.

"Expelliarmus!" I exclaimed, "Avada Kedavra!" The cloaked figure yelled at the same time.
The red light from my wand drew closer to the green light from his, and I knew I'd die if I let go. So I was maintaining attention on my wand, but could feel sweat begin to form above my brow, but now the world around me began to blur.
It was just me, this cloaked person and our duel.
As the red light from my wand drew closer and closer, I held attention to my wand until an explosion of light occurred and the cloaked figure flew to the ground.
Then I felt arms wrap around from behind me and pull me, I fought and kicked but they wouldn't let go. My feet were on the ground when I turned to see Sirius, "We need to get to the school now." Sirius said, "We can't - we can't leave them behind." I protested. "I told James and Elio we were going to warn the school. Let's go." Sirius replied and not giving me time to fight with him he grabbed my arm and we ran towards the school.

I looked at Sirius and noticed a cut on the side of his neck, and it wasn't just an average cut it was significantly large and it was bleeding out, "Sirius, you're bleeding." I said, "I know darling, it's an old wound do not worry." He laughed. How is he laughing in a situation like this. How is he so calm. We kept running until arriving at the entrance to the school and I asked, "Should we split up?" I asked, "There is no way in hell I am leaving you alone in a situation like this." Sirius replied, "Sirius I can fend for myself." I protested. "Didn't ask." Sirius smiled while pulling me once again as we ran towards the headmasters office.

We arrived to the entrance of Dumbledores office and Sirius said the password "Sherbet Lemon." He exclaimed, "Are you here that often?" I laughed. "Yes." Sirius smiled, while entering the staircase that began to twirl. "Headmaster?" I questioned, "Yes?" Dumbledore asked with a calm tone. "You need to lockdown the school." Sirius said, "Immediately." I added.
"Why would I do such as thing?" He asked more concerned. "Someone is attacking us, we don't know who, but they are here." I said, "James, Remus, Peter and Elio are still fighting them down at Hogsmeade." Sirius added, "They are. wearing black cloaks and silver masks and claim they will kill everyone with "dirty" blood." I said, "Please lock the school up." I pleaded.
"I for saw this coming." Dumbledore said, he walked up to his portraits of past headmasters and mumbled something, and they got up and left.

"What about the boys?" I asked, "I will figure that out, now go to your dormitory's and get everyone prepared." Dumbledore confessed. With that me and Sirius left and I went on my way to the Dungeons, but he followed. "Sirius, you need to go to Gryffindor." I recommend, "I'm not leaving your side y/n. No matter how much you hate me, I can't bare the thought of living without you." Sirius said and I didn't want to fight it cause deep down, I couldn't bare life without him either.
