I wasn't still over yet of what happened yesterday night then now this? Who would have thought that I'd be sitting in front of them? Who would have thought that I'll be having lunch with my ex together with his girl? This is really awkward! But seeing his girl with all smiles while looking at me confuses me. Is she okay that she's having a lunch with her boyfriend's ex? Is she cool with this? Or maybe she doesn't have a choice! Or another maybe is she's just mature enough to eat together with her boyfriend's ex since Cyrus and I are still friends? Are we?
"So!" she laughed while I on the other hand faked a smile.
She has a short hair that really suited her. I can also see that she has a talent in make up. Ang ganda ng pagka make up niya sa mukha niya. Hindi kasi ako medyo marunong sa blend-blend na iyan. Nakakainis.
"Hi Queeny! We meet again!" she said in a happy tone.
But wait, what did she say? Tama ba iyong narinig ko na sabi niyang nagkita ulit kami? Kumunot ang noo ko.
"You don't remember me, do you? We're not friends kasi before and we've never been classmates too so yeah." what she did next surprised me.
"Bat Com!" she salutes and laughed again.
"We were on the same university when we were in high school. She's the president of the dance club before but I don't know if you knew about it or maybe have forgotten about it since it's already twelve years ago." Cyrus said.
Dance club president? Siya iyon?!
"Ikaw iyong magaling sumayaw na kasama ni Arjan noong prom?" I asked surprisingly.
How would I forget that? There performance that time was the best! Sobrang galing niyang sumayaw. Her movements were fast but still graceful plus the emotions on her face while she dance. She's that.. talented.
"Oh she still remember that Cyrus!" nilingon niya si Cyrus at natawa. Pagkatapos ay ako naman ang nilingon niya, still smiling.
"Yup that's me! I'm really flattered by what you said. Thank you for that."
We were not introduced way back then but I notice her sometimes. Even today, she's still the same as she is when we were still in high school. Ma. Karena is still beautiful, eloquent and still a woman with so much class. The way she dress her self and even her laugh is classy.
I felt a little insecure right now. Sana man lang nakapagbihis o nakapag-ayos man lang ako ngayon but here I am looking like a mess. May hang over pa, hindi pa nakaligo, naka oversized pa na t-shirt ugh nakakainis!
"Her memory is sharp." sabi ni Cyrus na nakatingin na sa akin.
"Really? Ako kasi I'm so forgetful!"
"Ganyan kasi kapag tumatanda na." Cyrus teased na sinapak naman ni Ma. Karena ng mahina sa braso.
"Excuse me, ikaw din kaya but who cares? Pabata ng pabata naman iyong mukha ko." Ma. Karena smiled sweetly at Cyrus or more like nagpapacute. Natawa naman si Cyrus.
"Akala mo lang iyon." Natawa din si Cyrus.
Para silang may sariling mundo. Cyrus and I used to be like that.
"I haven't ordered food pa. Let's order na. Because I am really hungry." sabi ni Ma. Karena tapos tinawag ang waiter.
"Hmmm..." she's pouting while she's looking at the menu.
"I would like caesar's sala-" hindi niya natapos iyong sasabihin niya dahil biglang pinuna sita ni Cyrus.
"Damo na naman?" si Cyrus.
