------------------------------------------------------------

I kept my head down, Remaining quiet as Golden led Ian and I through the large head quarters the Heros operated.

The villain had already been taken to a high security cell.

Despite my attempts to leave, Golden had refused to let Ian and I leave his sight.

His reasoning? To quote him, 'You were injected with a mysterious liquid that might have harmed you'.

Currently, He was taking Ian and I to one of their doctors they had working for them.

He was going to have a few tests run on Ian and I to make sure there wasn't some form of slow acting poison in us.

Neither of us wanted this, However, Golden could be very persuasive. . .

In other words he pretty much said we can either go with him willingly or he will tie us up like mr. clone villain and carry us here against our will.

Reaching up, I ensured my mask was still in place, The lenses in the goggles I wore were thankfully doing their job and keeping me from going blind thanks to the lights in here.

It was down right horrifying being surrounded on all sides by Heros, I had no doubt fought at least one of them other than Golden at some point or another.

Surrounded on all sides by the enemy. . .What could possibly go wrong.

I held back a bitter smile at that sarcastic thought.

I could feel my little dragons squirm slightly as we passed yet another hero.

Moving my hand to rest over them, I gently push Cali's head back down when he tried to poke his head out of my shirt.

One of the heros walking past us did a double take at that, His eyes widening in shock.

Before anything could be said, Golden led us into a room.

I nervously wrapped my arms around my dragons as Ian moved closer to my side, Equally stressed and nervous.

The only other person in the doctor office looking room was a man sitting in a chair in front of a desk with paper work on it.

When we stepped in, He looked up, A small smile on his face.

''Hey Golden, Did you break a bone again?'' He asked, His voice warm and light, Amusement hiding in his tone.

He had light brown hair that fell down into his face ever so slightly, It was long enough to hide his forehead when it fell down over his face.

His light blue-grey eyes were sparkling with amusement as he waited for an answer from the light hero.

''No, I'm not the one who needs your attention'' Golden informed the smiling man in front of us.

He arched an eyebrow at that before Golden gently but firmly pushed both Ian and I into the other man's line of sight.

''They were both injected with an un-known liquid, Shade was injected a long time before Blossom so. . .'' Golden started to explain, Trailing off slightly as the other hero got up, A clip board levitating beside him as he stood up.

''Well then, Lets take a look at you two'' The other hero said pleasantly, Gesturing to the metal table nearby.

I hesitated slightly, Ian moving closer to me as well.

Golden moved to push us both closer to the other hero before suddenly, He froze in place.

The other hero was staring at us with a raised eyebrow.

''Hover. . .Let me go.'' Golden bit out, Staring right at the other hero.

''Yeah no, You have to step out unless they're kids and you're their legal guardian. . .'' The man, Hover, Informed Golden calmly.

I pulled Ian closer, Holding onto his hand as we both eyed the two heros, Neither of us really sure what was going to happen.

This can't end well. . .

Instinctively, I slowly tugged Ian closer until I was between him and the other heros.

I had no clue why I did that, I didn't have my powers after all so it wasn't like I could protect him if things got fucked.

The salt and pepper haired man sighed before taking a step back.

''Be careful. . .That one's a villain'' Golden warned, Gesturing to me as he spoke.

I considered the offended feeling that rose up inside me at that.

Sure that was un-called for, But it was fair, I did get into more than a few fights with him before.

''Good for him, Out now'' Hover said pleasantly, Shooing Golden the rest of the way out before closing the door again.

''Well now, Do you two want to be put in different rooms or-'' Hover started to say before Ian instantly interrupted him.

''No, No we don't'' He muttered, Clinging onto my arm like a baby monkey clinging to it's mother.

Hover glanced over at me, As if asking if Ian spoke for both of us.

''We'd rather stick together'' I muttered, Gently resting my hand over Ian's.

Hover smiled slightly at that before nodding and gesturing towards the metal table.

''In that case, Go and sit over there'' He said while a few more clip boards started to float over to him, A pen following right behind them.

--- Time skip ---

I rubbed slightly at my arm, The spot Hover had drawn blood from was a bit sore.

I've never been good with taking shots. . .Who knew getting my blood draw would be the same. . .

Ian had passed so far with flying colors, Other then a few bruises, He was okay.

His blood had been sent down to a lab to be tested to make sure there wasn't something hiding in there, But Hover seemed to believe that the report would come back clean.

I wasn't so lucky, Turns out I had a bit of nerve damage in my arm where the other villain had injected me with the mystery liquid.

Now that whatever he had injected me with to numb my pain was starting to wear off, I could feel a dull throb in my arm.

Hover had left after sending the vials of our blood off to the lab, He claimed to be going to get something to help with the pain I was no doubt going to be in.

The fact that he was still helping me despite knowing I am a villain was quite surprising.

Holding Ian close, I waited to see what would happen next.

Either he's actually helping or us. . .Or he's going to poison us. . .Either way, Today will be interesting for sure. . .

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Hover's cool. . .

Anyways! Like always, Have a good day/night and find a better book! - fallen
