------------------------------------------------------------

Calmly, I continued to walk from one end of my cell to the other.

A few of my smoky clones were standing guard on either side of my cell's door, Their empty hollow eyes staring forwards blankly.

There were no other prisoners in the other secure cells on this level of the hero's complex building, Leaving me to have to wait for someone to arrive that way I could get out.

Thankfully though, I didn't have to wait long.

'I can't believe I'm stuck tending to these scumbags. All because I nearly blinded some dumbass civilian' An annoyed train of thought growled out in my head as I slowly stopped pacing, A small smile forming on my face.

Perfect

I continued to listen to the self centered and outraged thoughts of the young hero who was storming closer to my cell.

Moving over to the little cot in the corner of my cell, I calmly sat down on the end of it, Crossing my legs and folding my hands in my lap.

I knew I looked like the picture of composure, Calm, I had practiced how to look un-threatening, You'd be surprised how quickly some people trust those who are polite and composed.

It was almost like they assumed those you acted polite and well mannered were always good people.

Amusing considering how many killers were calm, Composed, Seemingly well mannered people. . .

'This is the last disgraceful shit I have to give food to.' The young hero's thoughts growled out as he stopped in front of my cell.

What a lovely boy. . . The one I kidnapped and tested on had much kinder thoughts. . .He had a right to be mad. . .Yet this one?

I would not regret taking over this one's mind.

Slowly, I stood up as the young hero opened my cell's door.

''Here. Food.'' He grumbled out, Tossing a small bagged meal at me.

'Fucking freak. . .Although he does have decent enough looks for a dude, All things considered' I heard his thoughts grumble as I approached the hero.

Clasping my hands behind my back, I dispelled my smoky clones, Coming to a stop in front of the young hero.

Said boy at least had enough sense to stumble back slightly, Appearing briefly scared.

''Many thanks, Although I sadly must decline this offered meal'' I informed him, Keeping up the politeness I always upheld despite the aggressive and hateful thoughts I heard coming from the boy.

If I didn't need to read his thoughts to control him I'd just distance myself from his mind. . .

Picking up the bagged meal, I held out for the hero, Keeping one hand behind my back as he stared at me in surprise, His mind briefly quieting in confusion.

''Pardon me for asking. . .But what are you doing down here tending to us captured villains?'' I questioned, I already knew the answer, But this would allow me to stroke his ego enough for him to lower his guard.

''I almost blinded a little freak, Now I'm stuck doing this as a punishment'' He grumbled out, Surprisingly forthcoming.

I had expected at least a bit of resistance from him. . .

Better for me I guess. . .

''Whoever is protecting the city in your absence? While you're here some little villain could be wrecking havoc'' I pointed out, Slowly starting to circle the young hero, My arms behind my back and my body language hopefully reading as open and safe.

'His voice is pretty nice. . .Velvety. . .Surely he can't really be a villain. . .' The foolish little hero thought as I continued to circle him at a slow, Easy walk.

''Golden and the others have it under control.'' He spat out.

I didn't need to read minds to tell how much he hates Golden.

''That is very fool hardy of them, Surely they understand the amount of talent and sheer power you have. . .Yet they just leave you down  here. . .'' I pointed out, Stroking his ego the best I could for now.

I didn't expect him to instantly trust me at that, No further trust needed.

Dear lord. . .If this is what they're considering standards for heros than I pity whoever ends up fighting . . .Any villain. . .

Again, It worked out in my favor at least.

Despite having planned for this to take much much longer, I did have a backup incase anyone here was easy enough to ensnare.

Instantly reaching my mind out, I slowly slipped past his mind's barrier.

It always unnerved me slightly, The feeling of entering into someone else's mind, It felt a lot like I was walking out of my skin and into the body of someone else.

Made sense since that was sort of what I was doing in a way.

It didn't take even ten seconds to take over the young hero's mind.

A small peaceful smile formed on my face as I stared back into the young hero's now blank eyes.

He was staring forwards with a dead eyed stare, Barely blinking as I slowly got used to puppet-ing his body.

Alright, Seems to be working pretty well. . .

Sighing, I held my hands out as my new little puppet moved forwards to cuff my hands.

The foolish little hero's mind was trying to regain control, However, He didn't seem able to, He had messed up and now he'll have to just deal.

Smiling calmly, I followed behind my puppet, Doing my best to play the part of a prisoner.

We will be able to waltz right out of here now. . .

Despite my confidence, I was still weary. . .

Pride goes before fall. . .After all

We eventually made it up to the other prison cells, There was no one else up here, The locks on the cell doors looked like they were being repaired, As were some of the light fixtures.

Wonder what happened here. . .
