:) Don't worry, Daxon won't let Corbin get hurt
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. golden boy and I sat in a tense silence in the mini-van I had been stuffed into.
We had been driving for a while, Not that I could tell how far we've gone though thanks to the fact that the hero had tied a -Thankfully clean- somewhat long strip of fabric around my eyes.
Tene and Cali were back home, Trying to wake up Eige up so they could start finding a way to free me.
It was touching, We always have been a team of our own, However, It always made me feel warm and fuzzy when they would do little things of love directed at me.
I had so little of it in my life other wise.
Sighing, I relaxed my body as best I could, Unable to reach out to any shadows seeing as the hero had the foresight to keep the back of the van lit up like the surface of the sun.
It was painful on my eyes, Even with the cloth covering them and blocking some of the light.
However, I could still reach out to my dragons, Slowing my heart beat I concentrated on drifting away from my body before my eyes opened again.
I was no longer seeing the brightly lit cloth around my eyes, Instead I stared out through the foggy shadowy eyes of Cali.
Tene was actively biting at the metal cage, Seemingly having forgotten that they themselves could alter shadows ever so slightly, Like a much weaker version of my power.
Smiling mentally, I reached out until my mind just barely brushed with Cali's chaotic one.
'Our Corbi trapped, What to do? Nothing can do. . . Have to reach Corbi, Can't reach Corbi. . .' I heard his thoughts say, The poor little dragon was worried and confused.
I felt a little peace return to me as I heard his disjointed rambling thoughts.
I rarely ever reached out to my dragons mentally, They were entitled to their own thoughts after all, It would be rude and honestly very mean to deny them of their own secrets just because I could.
That fact still didn't stop the calming effect such an action caused for me.
'Scared, Corbi get's hurt, Very scare-' Cali's thoughts continued to ramble for a moment before I reached out for him, Pushing my thoughts to him.
''Cali, Calm down, It's going to be okay, I'm not hurt sweetie'' I whispered into his head, Fully prepared to calm down my sweet dragon's panic attack when the van I was in pulled to a stop.
One thing at a time, I'll deal with his panic when I'm free.
I didn't say anything to interrupt Cali, However, I didn't block my emotions from crossing out little mental bridge.
He must have felt the urgency in my emotions because he waited patiently for me to direct him.
''Cali, I know you're scared but until Eige wakes up you're going to have to be the sensible one'' I whispered as I heard the hero shut the engine off.
''I don't have long, Use your powers to break Eige out and try to form Gloaming, He should be able to free me'' I whispered into his mind hurriedly, As I heard the hero walking around the van, Approaching the back doors.
'Oki! Won't let you down!' Cali responded cheerfully, Already starting on the lock as he spoke.
I could feel a warm fuzzy feeling in my chest, ''You never do Cali'' I sent back to him as I pulled my mind back into my body.
''Hope it wasn't too uncomfortable back here'' The hero said warmly, His velvety voice making me shiver ever so slightly.
I didn't say anything, Instead, Enjoying the tense silence he had to suffer through as he helped me out of the back of the van, Still having not taken my blindfold off.
He let out an awkward chuckle before lightly resting his arm across my shoulders.
I very nearly shrugged his arm off of me, However, He stopped me easily.
''Sorry but I don't want you slamming face first into a wall'' He said, Back to sounding cheerful again.
I just let out an un-amused grunt, Concentrating more so on the feeling of my dragons than the man who currently held me captive.
As I walked, I still failed to feel anything from my dragons with just the slight check up.
''Careful, Watch where you're going'' I heard the hero warn.
I was about to make a snide remark about how I couldn't watch where I was going seeing as I couldn't see.
However, Another voice responded.
''Ah, Sorry Golden, I wasn't aware you were bringing in a prisoner at such a late hour'' An unidentifiable voice said from right in front of me.
''That's understandable, Clue'' Golden said.
Well. . . At least I know his name?
He started to lead me further into this place after the short little exchange, As we walked, I felt a change in my power.
For a brief moment, I felt my contact with my dragons cut off fully.
Before I could worry though, I felt another presence appear in their absence, A complete and powerful presence that pulled my power.
Gloaming.
For a moment, I could feel his mind pressing up against mine.
I opened my mind readily for him, Allowing him to search through my most recent memories.
A few seconds later, I heard his gravely voice in my head.
'I'm on my way'
I felt a small part of my mind relax before the blindfold over my eyes was removed.
I squinted at the painfully bright light as I was faced with a cell in front of me.
There were no bars, Instead, There was a solid sheet of. . . Plastic? Glass?
Something clear and see through that was interwoven with small yet sturdy looking wire metal.
The hero gently pushed me into the cell, Mindful to not knock me off balance before he snapped his fingers, Making the ropes around me vanish.
He gave me a small sympathetic smile, His mask barely in his way.
''We'll have a word with you come morning, Sleep well Bleeding shade'' Golden said with far too much warm kindness before he locked the door and left.
Sighing, I slid down the see through wall, Sitting down to rest my head in my hands.
This is going to be a hard mess up to get out of. . .

So! Gloaming is on his way. . . Any guesses where Daxon took Corbin though?
Anyways! Like always, Have a good day/night and find a better book! - fallen
