I was a mistake.

It's quite literally a fact. Mother slept with some random man and ended up getting pregnant. And then she had me.

Her greatest mistake.

I heard the door to the house slam open. Mother was home. I walked out of the bathroom, to the door where Mother had entered the house.

"Hello Mother." I greeted.

"Shut it. I'm not your mother you bitch." She growled. In one of her hands was a bottle. She had been drinking.

She suddenly slapped me across the face. A stinging sensation filled my cheek as I dropped to the ground in surprise.

"Worthless piece of shit." She grumbled as she walked away. She headed over to the couch, before dropping on it and falling asleep.
