Three weeks had passed by, Bonnie and Kol had been stuck on the other side for over a month now. They had spent day in and day out trying to find a way to get back home, but they couldn't find anything. Not even a simple clue that would give them at least an idea of how to leave the other side.

After their steaming encounter that took place three weeks ago, Bonnie spent the night thinking about what happened between the both of them earlier that day, and she knew liking Kol was wrong and nothing could happen between them and so she did exactly that, she pretended that nothing happened between them. Elena's words had crossed her mind...Promise me you won't fall for his tricks... That was a wake up call for Bonnie that she needed to get rid of the fog that roamed in her thoughts.

She was cold and distant towards him from now on, and since then, she forced herself to look at their steaming encounter as the heat of the moment, and nothing else. She didn't hate him or like him, he was just another person to her. At least, they didn't try to kill each other every second like before.

As for Kol, he just never brought up the situation. The past three weeks after their moment, he treated her like they were just strangers trying to work together. Which Kol didn't mind because one thing he desired more than Bonnie, was finding a way out of here. It was simply strict business. At first, he enjoyed knowing that he had an effect on her. But he had to remind himself, that she is the enemy and he couldn't trust her. To everyone, Kol was incapable of ever loving someone, he himself knew it was true because even if he did care for Bonnie, some part of him would still want to hurt her.

PRESENT TIME ON THE FLIP SIDE

Elena, Caroline and Matt all met up at the grill because Elena had some important news to share with them. "Hey guys" Elena said nervously. "So she's alive?" Caroline said with annoyance in her tone. Elena had been M.I.A since Bonnie's funeral. She wasn't picking up any phone calls, ignored texts and was always "busy" anytime Caroline would try to hang out with her. . "So what did you need to tell us?" Matt abruptly asked. "This is going to be a lot to take in, but I'll need you guys to hear me out". Elena bellowed.

Matt and Caroline glanced at each other and nodded. Elena finally spoke. "I think there's a possibility we can bring Bonnie back" Caroline chuckled at Elena's remark. She didn't think it was possible to bring someone back from the dead. Meanwhile, Matt kept quiet and held his face down, still trying to understand the words that just came out of Elena's mouth.

Caroline's face changed immediately after realizing Elena wasn't joking. "Wait, your serious?" "Yes" Elena replied. "I know its a lot, but"— Caroline cut Elena off before she could finish her sentence. "Of course it's a lot, Elena. Bonnie's been dead, for what, like five weeks now? Is that why you've disappeared off of the face of the earth for these past three weeks?"... "Yes and no. I just didn't want any distractions while trying to get Bonnie back" Elena replied.

"Oh, so I'm a distraction now?"

"I didn't mean it like that, Caroline"

Caroline scoffed in annoyance. Matt finally spoke after his series of silence. "Wow, Uhm, so coming back to life is possible for humans too and not only vampires..."

"Well, Bonnie is a witch, but for a non-supernatural human, I doubt it's possible to come back to life, unless you have vampire blood in your system. But, to be honest, Im not even surprised with the idea of bringing Bonnie back. I mean, from the Gilbert ring to everything that's happened so far, I think this'll work" Elena mentioned.

"So, what's the plan?" Matt asked her. Elena opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by Caroline once again. "I can't believe you've been finding a way to get Bonnie back...without me" Caroline mumbled. Matt looked at Caroline and traced his eyes to Elena. "The plan?" He says. "Right, so before I" Elena gets cut off by Caroline. AGAIN. Elena sighs in irritation and Matt releases a slight giggle. "I would like to know how you knew bringing Bonnie back was possible and who or what you found that out from" she questioned, tilting her head, curious for an answer.
