Immediately, Hayley, Rebekah, and Kol rushed back to the house to explain what was happening to Elijah and Klaus. And Freya, who they had called over.

The Mikaelsons stood in the living room, their minds frantic at the potential doom.

"The only logical thing to do here would be to cut off the connection between Kol and his sires, which includes everyone he's compelled. Vampire and human," Freya said. "It isn't a hard spell. It's pretty simple. It just includes a ton of magic that I can't possess."

"How much magic must you possess to perform the spell?" Klaus asked.

Freya thought about it for a moment, unsure how to word it. "About all the magic used to bring someone back to life."

"But you brought Kol and Bonnie back to life four years ago, remember?" Klaus mentioned.

"Exactly, and all you needed to do was channel off of me," Rebekah said.

"Well, I can't take that risk now!" Freya exclaimed.

Hayley and Elijah exchanged a confused glance at Freya's sudden outburst.

"Are you...okay, sister?" Elijah asked, genuinely curious.

Freya mustered a hard swallow. "I wasn't sure how to tell you guys, but Keelin and I have been doing IVF injections, and I plan on carrying our baby."

Everyone in the room congratulated her with a hug and high fives.

Hayley noticed Freya didn't look as excited, and her brows furrowed. "Is that not a good thing?"

"No, it's great. It's just, uh, I-" Freya hugged herself, knowing that getting these words out of her mouth would be a struggle. "I recently found out that I'm pretty much infertile, and getting my health back on track is my main focus. So, for now, magic Freya is off the market."

Rebekah walked over to Freya and hugged her while Hayley and the rest of the siblings stood with empathy on their faces.

"I'm so sorry," Rebekah said.

Freya returned the hug. "I'm fine, I promise," she said before pulling out of the hug. "I know there's a chance for me to get pregnant, but it'll most likely take years. And, I need to keep my eggs as healthy as possible, and constantly doing all these crazy spells and getting into more trouble with the spirits won't do me any justice. I'm sorry."

The Mikaelsons couldn't be mad at her. They understood that her being able to have this baby was more important than some spell when there were other witches they could reach out to.

"Don't be sorry, sister. Be sorry for even having to explain yourself to us," Elijah said, causing Freya to chuckle. "We're here for you and your soon-to-be bundle of joy."

"Thank you, guys, for understanding," Freya smiled, and they all nodded.

Kol held his hands in front of him. "Our sister is currently off limits, leaving us with two other witches. Bonnie, and-"

"Davina, the brat," Klaus hissed to himself. "Getting her to do anything is as hard as putting a newborn to sleep. They don't stop whining."

"Well, Davina likes me, so I'm sure she'll be more than willing to help," Kol said. "And I don't want Bonnie to know about this. I don't need her worrying about me."

"You being human now doesn't make you an idiot, brother. Bonnie has every right to know what's transpiring," Elijah stated.

"You're right, but being human now doesn't make me invincible either. If I don't learn to fight my battles independently, then who will teach me to?" Kol remarked.
