Kol paced back and forth, his mind frantic at the odd yet shared past his siblings seemed to have with Kallidika. "Let me get this straight, you're saying that Kallidika was actually my first love, not Bonnie, and Elijah compelled me to forget her because she was insane and went against our family's morals?"

"Not how I remember it, but okay," Kallidika shrugged.

Kol stopped in his tracks and looked at them for answers. They nodded, and he scoffed. "I don't believe it for one second."

"We aren't lying to you, Kol," Klaus said.

"Nor are we making up stories to forbid your happiness. This person in front of us is a deceitful and malicious individual who will stop at nothing to cause us great harm," Elijah bellowed.

"Great vocabulary, Elijah," Kallidika clapped. "I don't think I've ever been called such disgusting names by a man."

Though tension swarmed in the room, Kallidika still found humor in it. And it enraged Rebekah. "This is what you like doing; going around, tearing families apart. Then when a family finally seems to heal, you come back. And you tear that family apart again. But this family that stands before you is not the same fragile family you once knew. We have grown in strength and love, and after all we've been through to finally get where we are, it is over my dead body that you will bring us back to stage one."

Kallidika rolled her eyes and folded her arms over her chest. "Right, family."

Kol was initially confused but eventually understood as all the puzzle pieces fell into place. "No wonder you were speaking so ill of Bonnie. You never actually liked her. You only became her client to get closer to me," he said. "What is your plan?"

Tears welled in Kallidika's eyes as sorrow grew in her spirit. She had come this far, and for what? So the Mikaelsons could diminish the security within herself she barely had? "We belong together, Kol. I- I love you," she said.

Kol shook his head. The one time I go after a woman who isn't Bonnie is the one time it turns out to be some psychopath who wants to endanger my family. At this point, he knew that if it wasn't Bonnie he was with, he might as well give up on love for good. "What is your plan?" He pressed.

Kallidika put her two hands on his shoulders. "To make you love me like you once did. What we have is stronger than anything you feel for that witch."

Kol pushed her off of him. "If you think I am interested in pursuing anything with you after what I've just heard, you have officially gone mad. Apparently, you hurt me, you hurt my family, you want to hurt everyone around me...including Bonnie. That's why you've come here, to New Orleans; to find me and my family and grow closer to those around me. Starting with becoming Bonnie's client."

Kallidika struggled to muster up the courage to speak. Hearing Kol reject her in the most humiliating way possible made her want to crawl into a corner and cry. "But, we love each other, and-"

Rebekah interrupted with a scoff. "Love?" She said. "You use that blasted word so recklessly. Meanwhile, even if it was carved into your heart, you still wouldn't know what love is."

"All of this only leads me to believe that you, Kallidika, are the town's murderer," Elijah said. His fists clenched, and his jaw did the same as his fury grew. "After what you did to my family, you dare show your face?"

"I will show my face over and over again because Kol is worth fighting for!" She exclaimed. "And, clearly, he doesn't love me as much as I love him, so-"
