Bonnie paced back and forth in Alexis's living room. Her heart raced with excitement and nervousness as she spoke to Alexis. "I think Kol is ready to seal the deal between us," she said. "He agreed to get the matching tattoos."
Alexis dropped her magazine and jumped up, her eyes wide. "Oh my God! Are you serious? We need drinks for this!" She rushed to the kitchen but stopped abruptly, looking at her belly. "Never mind, I'm pregnant. But you should definitely celebrate!"
Bonnie laughed. "It's so surreal. I never thought he'd go through with it."
Alexis returned to the couch. "Well, he's a Mikaelson. I don't know them, but apparently, they're full of surprises. Let me see it again."
Bonnie rolled up her sleeve, revealing the tattoo. Alexis leaned in, examining it closely. "It's beautiful. And binding. You guys are like magically bound now."

Meanwhile, at the compound, Kol was pacing frantically, glancing at the fresh tattoo on his arm. Klaus and Elijah were seated, watching him with amusement. "I have no choice but to seal the deal between us," Kol muttered. "This tattoo practically forces me to marry her."
Klaus stood and approached Kol, reaching out to touch the tattoo. "Let me see that."
Kol slapped Klaus's hand away, wincing. "It still hurts, you idiot!"
Klaus laughed, shaking his head at his little brother. "Well, it's not supposed to be painless. Is it?"
Elijah smirked, sipping his drink. "You did agree to it, Kol. No one forced you."
Kol stopped pacing and glared at his brothers. "She didn't force me, but now it feels... inevitable."
Klaus smirked, leaning back in his chair. "Love has a way of doing that, little brother."
Kol groaned, flopping onto the couch. "It's not just love. It's Bonnie. She's different. She makes me feel human. Despite me already being one."
Elijah raised an eyebrow. "And that's a bad thing?"
Kol sighed. "No, it's just... new. And terrifying."

Back at Alexis's apartment, Bonnie flopped onto the couch, holding up her arm to show the matching tattoo for the third time. "I mean, it's kind of romantic, right?"
"It's beautiful. You guys are practically inseparable now. So, have you thought about the wedding? Big ceremony or something more intimate?"
Bonnie couldn't help but chuckle. Wedding? Alexis was looking far into the future. "Oh my gosh, Alexis, you remind me of my friend, Caroline. You're both so obsessed with love that you start getting delusional," she said.
Alexis giggled. "Well, you'll never have to worry about me being a boring sister. Being delusional is what makes life interesting, little sister. Speaking of which, how do you think Kol's handling it?"
Bonnie grinned, thinking about him. "He's probably freaking out, pacing around. Kol was acting so weird after we left the shop. But he'll be fine. We'll be fine." Little did she know.

Kol continued pacing in the living room, rubbing his sore arm. Klaus and Elijah exchanged a knowing glance. "Look, Kol," Elijah said, his tone more serious now. "If you really love her, this is just a step. A painful, inked step, but a step nonetheless."
Klaus nodded in agreement. "And think of the stories you'll tell. This is just the beginning."
Kol sighed. He realized his brothers were right. He knew he loved Bonnie and could see a promising future with her. So, it confused him as to why he was so scared. "Yeah, I guess you're right. It's a pretty epic beginning."
