Bonnie heard her name being called, the voice sounded familiar. She woke up and stood up from her bed, rubbing her eyes, she wrapped her cardigan over her shoulders and made her way downstairs. When she got down there, the breakfast aroma hit her nostrils, it was a maple syrup scent. She looked around to see eggs, bacon, pancakes, strawberries and a fresh brewed cup of coffee. "Hello?" Bonnie called, trying to find out who was in her house. The person surprised her from behind. Bonnie jumped, that's when she saw someone she hadn't seen in a while, someone she missed dearly. Her dad.

"Dad" she shouted running into his arms, embracing him in a warm tight hug. "What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be out of town for a while. Not that I don't want you here" she said with a bright smile displayed on her face. For her to see her dad meant the world to her, it wasn't the same as shooting him a text or video calling each other. To see her dad in person warmed her heart.

"I couldn't miss my baby girl's big day. I can't believe your graduating already, your growing up so fast" he said with excitement as he reached to hug her again. "When'd you come back?" she asked. "I just came back this morning"

"You did all of this?" She asked pointing her hand out to the delicious food waiting to enter her stomach. He nodded at her, answering her question. "Thanks, this means a lot"

"No problem sweetie, it's the least I could do after not being there for you like I should've been. I've been so busy with being mayor that I forgot my number one priority, you"

Bonnie held his hands and squeezed them. This was the best graduation gift she could've gotten. When her grams died, Bonnie felt her world collapse. Her mom or dad barely ever paid attention to her, mainly her mom. After Damon had turned Abby, Bonnie only saw her mom once. Sometimes she would call, but Abby wouldn't pick up. Every other week they had the chance to talk...but it was never enough to answer Bonnie's many questions. One of them being; Why did you leave me...again?

Bonnie and her dad sat down and enjoyed breakfast while talking about everything going on in their lives. Bonnie did not mention a word about Kol to her dad, or about the fact she had died and came back to life. She didn't want to him to worry about her too much. Once they finished eating, Bonnie hopped in the shower, got ready and made her way out the door.

AT SCHOOL

Bonnie walked down the hallway, Katherine appeared next to her. "I don't think red's really your color, Bonbon". Bonnie rolled her eyes, not giving into her foolish remark.

"I thought my grams locked you in that tomb, how'd you get out?" Bonnie questioned her. "I'm Katherine freaking Pierce. I'm a survivor" she replied.  "Should've known" Bonnie mumbled under her breath, she looked around to see the hallway full of students behind her. "Can't use your magic now, I guess it's the only thing that can protect you. Unlike Matt, you've truly lost your strength as just human" Katherine said toying with her confidence. Bonnie ignored her, even if she wanted to use her magic to protect herself, she couldn't, it was gone; at least for now it was.

"I need you to do something for me" Katherine said. Bonnie narrowed her eyes "What could you possibly want now?".

"No attitude bonbon, this may benefit you and your friends"

"I'm listening" Bonnie said folding her arms. "I need you to revive Emily. Emily Bennett" she said. Bonnie stopped walking and turned to Katherine. She couldn't believe the words that had just come out of her mouth. "I'm sorry, did you say revive?" Bonnie exclaimed. "Yup!" Katherine replied. "As in bringing her back to life?" Bonnie asked, making sure she wasn't just hearing things. "Yes and I need you to do it. She's your ancestor which means it'll be easier to bring her back since you two share blood".
