Damon had been shaking Bonnie for about four minutes now, and still nothing. "Come on, Bon! Wake the hell up!"

With that last shake, Bonnie's eyes opened, her nose bleeding. She bolted upright and looked at the timer on the phone, which was now at five minutes and forty seconds. Her eyes widened. "Oh, no! Oh my God."

"Jesus, Bonnie, what made you touch that damn thing?" Damon asked, relieved that she finally woke up.

"I—I don't know, I just—" She stopped talking, remembering Matt. Quickly, she placed her hand on Matt's chest and began chanting the same spell. "Phesmatos sanguine infundare cura. Phesmatos sanguine infundare cura."

Matt still didn't wake up, and Bonnie began to panic. "Come on, Matt!" She repeated the spell once again. "Phesmatos sanguine infundare cura. Matt, please!"

"Come on, Matt," Damon whispered to himself, eyeing him like a hawk.

Finally, Matt woke up with a gasp. Both Bonnie and Damon sighed in relief.

"Thank God!" Bonnie exclaimed.

Matt, still gasping for breath, sat up and leaned his back against the couch. He glanced down at Bonnie's phone to see that it had just hit the six-minute mark. He looked at Bonnie with annoyance. "Awfully long minute, Bon."

Bonnie frowned and looked at Damon who could only shrug.

"Good luck," Greta said before closing the door behind them.

Kol and Davina walked to the car, and Kol opened the door for her. She got in. Then, Kol went around to the driver's side and got in too.

Davina crossed her arms and scoffed. "I can't believe this."

Kol, trying to hide his fear, shrugged. "At least you won't have to deal with me for long. I know I can be quite the nuisance."

Davina scoffed again, grimacing. "Do you think this a joke? I mean, seriously, Kol, you're dying."

Kol sighed, hating that he'd have to explain this to her. "Look, Davina, I've lived a long life. A life longer than any other human or supernatural being has lived, at that. I'm not scared of dying. I'm scared of leaving everyone I love behind. For so long, I thought it was impossible for anyone to love a monster like me, but then—then I met Bonnie. She's shown me that I deserve love, despite my awful past. She is who I'm most terrified to leave behind. I'm scared, Davina. I'm so scared." He couldn't hold it in anymore. It just felt like one bad thing after the other with him, and it was crushing him. His tears fell uncontrollably.

Davina frowned and hugged him. "I will find a way to save you, Kol. I promise."

"So, what did you see?" Bonnie asked.

Matt focused, trying to remember. "It was all a blur. I remember hearing her voice, but I didn't see her. She kept shouting at me to find my body and leave because it's not 'safe there.'"

Bonnie and Damon looked at each other, narrowing their eyes.

"Wait, so you heard Vicki, but you didn't see her? Something ain't adding up," Damon said.

Bonnie nodded. "Right," she said.

"That was the most scared she's ever sounded since I've gone to see her, I swear," Matt said, fidgeting with his fingers. "I don't know what's going on over there, Bon. But whatever it is, we need to figure it out."

"I need to get to the Other Side. I'm gonna call Davina." Bonnie rang Davina's phone, but it went straight to voicemail. So she hit up Kol a couple of times, but no answer either. She realized there was only one other person she could call. "I'm gonna have to call Abby."
