Hayley and Rebekah made their way past Bonnie and into the house. She closed the door behind them and turned around to face them.
"I can understand your agitation since I left without telling you guys, but by the look on your faces, you seem to know already, don't you?" Bonnie asked, after moments of silence.
Rebecca's eyes burned with skepticism at Bonnie's lack of candor. "Yes, we know."
In an attempt to soothe the tension, Bonnie clasped her hands together and smiled widely. "That's awesome, but can I be scolded later? We have bigger fish to fry." Rebekah blinked back.
"Where is he?" Hayley asked.
Bonnie was biting on her lower lip, anxiety taking over all parts of her body. Where is he? I don't know where he is. Her mind wandered.
"Bonnie," Hayley called. Bonnie raised her brows, Hayley's voice catching her attention. "Huh?"
"Where is Kol?" The wolf asked for the second time.
Bonnie shrugged. "Honestly, we have no idea. I did a locator spell on him and it says he's here-"
Hayley and Rebekah looked at one another, confused.
"Wait, in the house?" Hayley asked.
"Yes, but we can't find him," Bonnie replied.
"Did you guys check his room?" Rebekah asked.
"Yes. We have checked nearly the entire house," Bonnie said, sighing. Overwhelmed by the situation, Hayley slapped a hand to her forehead. "This can't be happening right now. I mean, the baby and me and you too, Bonnie. What happens to us? What if Marcel decides to kill us? What if he decides to kill her?"
Bonnie was stressed and confused by her. "Who?"
"My baby," Hayley croaked. She then sat down on the couch and leaned her elbows onto her knees, and placed her face in her hands. Rebekah sat next to her and rubbed her back, trying to comfort her. "Don't worry, Hayley. Marcel doesn't know about the baby."
Bonnie sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Rebekah is right; Marcel doesn't know you're pregnant and we're going to keep it that way. Even though our entire plan to hide your identity from Marcel has gone to pieces, I promise you, Hayley, I won't let the baby or you suffer."
Taking a deep breath, Hayley wiped away her tears. A smile flitted across Bonnie's face in response, which then faded into a frown.
"Okay, you guys stay here. Let me see if the guys have anything yet."
On her way to Elijah and Klaus, Bonnie realized there was one place no one had checked: The Garden. Quickly, she ran to the back of the compound and outside the doors to the picturesque gated area. Calling out his name, she heard no response. The garden was pretty big, so she walked around for a bit. That's when she saw a man in a black leather jacket, his back facing her.
"Kol?" She called this time softly. He did not turn around to answer his name. The embarrassment and shame he felt would not allow him to. With that, Bonnie walked over to him and stood beside the original. "We've been looking for you," she exclaimed.
"I know," He said coldly.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
Kol scoffed, "Do I look like I'm okay?"
Bonnie pierced her lips together. "Sorry, I didn't know it was a crime to ask. Anyways, why were you hiding from us?" She asked.
Kol sighed, "Because... I can't face my siblings and I can't face you. I did something terrible, and for once in my life, I can finally admit to being scared."
