Two weeks. It had been two long weeks of high emotions; on both ends, but a breakup was never easy. Especially when you were breaking up with a person you had imagined to be spending the rest of your life with.

Bonnie thought she could handle the breakup, like how she took her break up with Jeremy, but Kol wasn't Jeremy. In fact, he was much better than Jeremy.

As the days passed, Bonnie had to remind herself that their parting was for the greater good.

It was another long day at work, and Bonnie was with her second-to-last client, her most consistent client so far. Her name was Kallidika. Kallidika was tall, with blue eyes and brunette hair. Her skin was as pale as snow white's.

"From what you said, I'm guessing you're not warming up here," Bonnie said.

Gosh, this girl can read me like an open book. "I mean, I wouldn't say I'm not warming up to New Orleans and its busy streets, but you could imagine how adjusting has been for me; not easy. My whole life, I've had to move from city to city, state to state, and now that I have been able to get away from my past, it feels like something is holding me back from moving on. Y'know?"

One of the main reasons that Bonnie loved talking to Kallidika was because she could relate to her with almost everything. Sure, Bonnie hadn't moved around a lot in her life, but when it was time to, she couldn't help but feel like her past had been haunting her.

"Trust me, I get where you're coming from. I moved here with the guy I hated most, which I ended up loving the most," she said. Great, I'm talking about Kol again. I am doing a terrible job for someone trying to get over an ex. "No one will ever feel a hundred percent comfortable with where they are in life, but that doesn't automatically mean that we can't be satisfied with how we're doing. I used to feel like you do now, and look at me. After nine years, I am still here in Nola. And not because I have to stay here, but because compared to my old life in Virginia, this one is a lot better. So, don't give up. Maybe, Nola is your home. Perhaps it isn't. But no matter what, you have life, and life will always be here to guide you every step of the way."

Kallidika blew her cheeks out in relief. "Do you know how grateful I am for the universe leading me to you, the best damn therapist in this town?"

Bonnie shrugged, disagreeing to agree, lowkey. "I mean, I wouldn't call myself the best, but I'm far from being the worst," she said.

Kallidika giggled. "Shut up."

Bonnie raised her palms defensively. "Hey! I'm just doing my job."

Suddenly, two knocks hit the door. The two turned to see who it was; Joshua.

"Hey, Bonnie. I brought you a little something." In Joshua's hand was a paper cup with a lid on it.

Bonnie narrowed her eyes while tilting her head. "I wonder what it is."

Kallidika wiggled her eyebrows flirtatiously at Bonnie, mouthing, "He's hot."

Bonnie couldn't help but roll her eyes. After spending days in and days out with Kallidika for the past two weeks, she had grown to learn that Kallidika loved her some eye candy. And Bonnie couldn't lie; Joshua was definitely eye candy.

Joshua entered the room and set the cup on Bonnie's desk. He waved at Kallidika, and Kallidika waved back, twirling her hair. Automatically, the smell gave it away.

"Coffee," Bonnie smiled. "How'd you know I only got two hours of sleep last night?" Coffee would definitely be helpful for her situation.

Joshua's eyes widened. "Why'd you only get two hours of sleep last night?"
