"okay, i need to fully bathe myself!" marina yelled as she entered the the girls dormitory.
laura was sitting on her bed, hayden was sitting at the desk doing homework, and amelia had just exited the bathroom. they all looked at her odd.
"why?" laura asked. "i hugged lupin!" marina said, frantically running to the bathroom. the whole dormitory gasped and hayden burst out into laugher. laura ran up and followed marina into the bathroom, where she had turned on the shower.
"why did you hug lupin?" she asked, leaning on the door frame. marina glared at her. "ludo bagman was being a dick, so he kind of protected me." marina said simply. "so you hugged him?" amelia asked, coming up behind laura.
"i don't even know why i did it!" marina said angrily. "maybe because you're in love with lupin!" hayden sang from the desk. "fuck you!" marina called back.
"did he hug you back?" laura asked. marina bit her lip, before nodding hesitantly. "oh, he is so in love with you." amelia said dreamily. "he better back off, cause it will never happen." marina said. before anyone could respond she closed the door.

"you guys are acting like i snogged him. all i did was hug him!" marina was saying.
it was the next day, and the four girls were walking to their first class, which was defense against the dark art, and, unfortunately, it was with the gryffindors.
"okay, but you don't hug your enemies!" laura pointed out as they walked through the doors and took their seats, marina next to amelia and hayden and laura behind them.
marina rolled her eyes and turned to the front. she was not done arguing, just didn't have the energy for it anymore.
the marauders walked in, but marina didnt notice. of course, hayden and laura noticed, and while hayden waved to peter, laura raised her eyebrows at remus, who looked back at her with a confused look.
professor mcgonagall began talking, and everyone began taking notes. halfway through the notes, professor sprout walked in and asked for her assistance in something, so she told everyone to stay quiet and keep working as they both walked out of the room quickly.
nobody listened.
marina and amelia turned around immediatly to laura and hayden, marina explaining how a hug is just a hug, and amelia watching with an amused face. then, marina got hit in the back of the head with something.
she whipped her head around and saw a paper plan lying on her desk. she looked up and saw no other than james potter staring at her. she picked it up to crumble up the piece of parchment, when he mouthed, "open it!"
marina looked at him suspiciously, before slowly opening it, laura, hayden, and amelia crowding around her. the note read,
what did you do to remus? he has been in a great mood since he got back last night...

marina rolled her eyes, before grabbing her quill, dipping it in parchment and writing,
i did nothing to put him in a good mood. he must have saw something after he dropped me off at the common room.

marina folder the parchment back up, tapped it with her wand, and watched it fly over to james, who caught it. he quickly opened it up and read it, before looking up at marina and shaking his head.
"told you." laura said.
short little filler chapter. i had a final exam today so i did what i could.
