remus and marina were standing in the corridor, dead silent. remus looked away from her, apparently thinking hard, leaving marina to silently curse herself for telling him the truth,
"charity?" he asked. "my girlfriend?" he swallowed hard, turning back to her, his eyes full of confusion. marina nodded.
"fuck," he muttered, before quickly turning around and rushing back into the great hall, marina quickly following him.
"remus! don't do anything stupid!" she said hastily, grabbing his arm and pulling him to a stop. "she hurt you." he snapped, ripping his arm away and stomping to where charity was sitting.
"nope, nope, nope." marina said to herself, practically sprinting over to the slytherin table, where severus immediately moved for her to sit down.
"what the hell happened to you?" stella asked, her mouthful of bread. "oh my god!" regulus gasped. "charity beat the shit out of me." marina said.
stella choked on her bread. regulus' jaw hit the floor. severus almost fell out of his seat.
"she did what?" stella gasped. "never mind that! i told remus, and now i think they're breaking up!" she said. stella immediately turned to the hufflepuff table and gasped.
"holy shit! they're leaving! code red people!" regulus said, standing up from the bench. "oh, godric." marina muttered, putting her head down on the table.
"she's going to kill you." severus said, causing stella to reach behind marina and yanking a piece of his hair, making his head bang against the table.
"you're so fucked." stella sighed.

marina sat on her bed, waiting.
charity had entered the dormitory five minutes ago, and marina was waiting for an outburst.
after what had happened at lunch, marina didn't see charity nor remus, and nobody knew what happened. it was finally after dinner, almost nine at night, and charity finally decided to show up in the dormitory.
she was sitting at her desk, writing something. marina couldn't tell what she was writing, but she seemed to be very passionate and aggressive about whatever it was.
laura, hayden, and amelia were sitting near marina's bed, making sure charity didn't pounce and beat the living hell out of her. again.
finally, after what seemed like an eternity, charity turned around from her desk and faced the four of them, who stared right back.
"what?" she asked. they all shrugged. "i know what you want to ask." she snapped, rolling her eyes and standing up.
she made her way towards them, and laura immediate stood up in front of marina, putting her arm in front of her. charity scoffed.
"calm down, i'm not going to do anything." she said. "like i believe that!" laura spat, glaring angrily at her. charity looked surprising calm at this outburst, and just simply shrugged.
"remus broke up with me." she said finally. the four girls stayed silent. normally, you would say how sorry you were and wish them the best. but the four felt no remorse for the girl standing in front of them.
"but, it's okay." she added, puzzling marina. "aren't you madly in love with him?" she asked, poking out from behind laura. charity smiled softly.
"not love, marina. but, yes, i do fancy him." she sighed. "i know he likes me too. all i have to do is be the best person i can be, and he'll take me back."
"like hell he will!" laura hissed. charity scrunched up her face for a couple of seconds, before taking a deep breath and walking into the bathroom, quietly closing the door behind her.
"so...if i'm understanding her correctly," hayden said, standing up, "charity is going to be nice until remus takes her back?"
amelia stood up as well, a smile growing on her face. "marina, telling remus might have been the best thing you've ever done."
