the first week of school flew by.

marina found it quite easy, as it was mainly just review and expectations for the class. charity was back to her normal, rude, snobbish ways, but she was a little more sufferable than normal.

saturday had finally arrived, and after breakfast marina headed down to the library.

she was going to find the book and write in it, though she was quite worried that nobody would write back. she still had to try.

she said hello to madam pince, and went to the astronomy section. she easily found the book and pulled it out, and was very surprised to see someone had written in it.

how was you're summer?

marina felt a huge weight being lifted off her shoulders. the boy in the mystery book was still at hogwarts.

she glanced around, before pulling out ink and a quill and quickly responding.

good, how was yours?

she could barely contain her excitement as she put the book back and hurried out of the library, only to be even more surprised when felix came around the corner.

"marina!" he said happily as marina tackled him into a hug. "i haven't seen you all week, even in classes!" marina said, lightly punching his shoulder.

"yeah, i got here last night, had some family stuff." felix said guiltily, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"it's alright, it's alright." marina said, out of breath. "what were you doing in the library?" felix asked as they started walking towards the courtyard.

"oh, just looking." marina lied, biting the inside of her cheek. felix looked at her suspiciously, but shrugged and dropped it.

the two made it to the courtyard, and marina quickly noticed the marauders all talking. felix seemed to notice them too.

"are you and remus friends?" he asked. "oh, yes, we are quite good friends!" marina said happily. felix chuckled to himself as remus looked up and saw marina, leaving his friends to walk over.

"hello, marina." he said politely, giving felix a nod of acknowledgment, to which felix rolled his eyes at. "hello, lupin." marina sighed, a smile growing on her face.

"me and james, sirius, and peter are going to the library tonight, would you, laura, hayden, and amelia like to join us?" he asked as he absentmindedly picked at his jumper.

"i'll ask them." marina said. remus nodded and turned around, his eyes lingering on marina. "oh, he totally fancies you." felix said once remus was out of earshot. marina turned to him with a look of disgust on her features.

"no, he doesn't." she snapped as they began walking again. "whatever you say, goldilocks." felix sighed as marina flipped her hair past her shoulder, hitting him in the face.
