"the transfiguration exam was the hardest exam i have ever taken." laura said as they packed up their stuff to go home.

they had finished all of their exams, and the hogwarts express would be taking them home tomorrow. marina didn't know how to feel about it.

"potions was definitely harder." hayden said as she tossed her hufflepuff scarf into her trunk. "no way." amelia cut in. "it was herbology."

"hell no!" marina snapped, shutting her trunk and whipping her head around at amelia. "herbology was easy!" laura laughed. "not like amelia pays attention in herbology!"

amelia picked up a sock and threw it at laura, but it flew by her and hit charity in the back of the head. the room fell silence as she slowly turned around and picked up the sock.

"watch where you throw your clothes." she said calmly, placing the sock on amelia's bed. the four girls let out a sigh of relief; charity was still being nice to them.

"we should probably head down to the feast." hayden said, closing her trunk and locking it, casting a look at laura as though she expected for her to take something out of her trunk. marina wouldn't have been surprised if she did. "yeah, i suppose we should." marina sighed.

the five girls walked out of the dormitory and into the great hall, where marina saw, to no surprise, the hall decorated in gryffindor colors to celebrate their win for the house cup.

charity went to the end of the table to be closest to the professors table, while the four other girls found their regular spots and began discussing the actives t

"mum and dad are taking me to the states to see my great uncle and great aunt." hayden sighed. "i love them, but my uncle always talks about his creatures that he has, and my aunt is so bossy."

"that sucks for you, but i'm going to australia to see my aunt and uncle, and they are the coolest!" laura said happily, but she realized something and frowned. "only problem is i have to come up with a bunch of lies, because they can't know i'm a witch or some shit."

"you guys are lucky! we're going to russia for a week to see my grandparents, but they're so uptight!" marina sighed, absolutely dreading the week in july.

her grandparents were about as pureblood as you could get. they were very wealthy and believed that magic should be kept inside pureblood families. they hated anyone that wasn't pureblood; which included almost all of marina's friends .

amelia looked as though she was about to say what her summer plans was, but they heard the sound of a spoon hitting glass, and all turned their attention to dumbledor, who was holding the objects in his hands.

"good evening, students." he said loudly, his voice ringing across the hall. "another year gone! what a year is has been!"

marina looked at her friends and they all nodded in amusement.
