"i'm so tired, all i want to do is go to bed." marina muttered, looking into the fire, hugging her legs into her chest and resting her chin onto her knees.

it was nearing midnight, and remus and charity were still in the dormitory. the four girls were refusing to go in there, marina not wanting to throw up at the look on charity's face.

"i'm just going to go up there and kick him out." laura said finally, standing up and stretching her legs. "charity will bitch about it to no end." hayden reminded her, but laura only scoffed.

"i don't care, i just want to go to bed, and i refuse to sleep on this couch." she said, casting an angry look to the couch, as if them being out her this late was its fault.

she stomped away to the dormitory, and the three girls quickly followed her, very interested into seeing how things would go down.

"charity, get him out!" laura was saying as the girls reached the bedroom. charity and remus had moved to the desk, and charity looked pissed, while remus didn't have any emotion.

"laura! guys! what the hell?" charity whined. "it's late, charity! we're all tired!" hayden spoke up, standing next to laura.

"you guys can snog another time, just please leave!" laura begged. charity opened her mouth, but remus stood up and she shut it.

"i should get going." he admitted sheepishly, pushing in his chair. charity looked as though she was about to argue, but saw the look on everyone's faces, and just nodded.

they kissed goodbye (marina looked away quickly) and he left, waving goodbye to marina, which she ignored and collapsed on her bed.

"what the hell was that about?" charity asked, standing up from her bed. "we are tired! stop being a self centered bitch and let us sleep!" laura practically yelled, before also falling onto her bed and pulling the curtains together.

what a fun night.

the next morning, charity was still mad at them, and left quite early, which none of them were complaining about, especially laura.

after they had gotten ready for school, they walked down to the great hall, laughing and talking about current things that had been happening.

it made marina feel nice again, like there was nothing to worry about. just like in the beginning of the year, when there were no feelings for stupid boys.

but, of course, that all ended when they rounded a corner of a corridor and found remus and charity snogging against the wall.

"jesus fuck." laura whispered. they quickly stopped and both got immediately red as they all made eye contact. they started to walk away when marina heard someone call her name, and she quickly turned around in the direction of the noise, along with everyone else.

felix had come jogging towards her, a smile across his face. marina smiled too.

"good morning, felix." she said once he arrived. "good morning." he said. he seemed to be out of breath and leaned over, resting his hands on his knees.

"marina, who's this?" laura asked, walking over towards them, hayden and amelia following closely. "oh, this is felix!" she explained.

"i'm her friend." he said, finally sitting up straight and looking around at everyone. his eyes fell on remus and charity and he quickly realized that those were the people marina had told him about, and his eyes narrowed slightly, but his smile didn't falter.

"well, i'm laura, that's hayden, and that's amelia." laura said, pointing at hayden and amelia as she introduced them.

"and i'm charity, that's remus." charity said. laura made an odd noise, and rolled her eyes when charity looked her ways. felix chose to ignore this.

"i was just about to walk to the great hall, would you like to join?" he asked marina. she looked back at her friends who eagerly nodded, so she nodded to him.

"see you guys later!" she said as they walked away and immediately began talking to one another.

"i have a good feeling about him." laura said. "i bet she falls for him within a week." amelia added. hayden nodded to both of their remarks.

remus watched them leave, watched as marina's blonde hair drew further away until she turned a corner and he could no longer see her.

he felt something bubbling at the pit of his stomach. and he didn't like it.

happy friday
