remus had never been more confused in his life.
one minute, he had taken a nap in the dormitory, and the next marina stopped being his friend. what was going on?
he quickly rushed up to the boys dormitory, where he found the three other marauders. "remus!" james practically yelled when he walked in, startling peter and sirius.
"hey, boys, the craziest thing just happened." remus sighed, stepping further in the room, but sirius rushed over and stopped him.
"we saw what happened. what the hell is wrong with you?" sirius asked, crossing his arms in front of him and raising his eyebrows. remus looked at him confused.
"marina just got so mad at me and brought a damn gang with her, and i have no idea why!" remus snapped. it was sirius' turn to look confused.
"you don't know why she was mad?" he asked slowly. remus shook his head. "moony, what we're you doing about two hours ago?" james asked, walking over to them.
"i took a nap after classes!" remus explained. james and sirius looked at each other with worry filling their eyes. "what happened?" remus asked.
"well, we were with you two hours ago." peter said slowly as he walked over there. "i was asleep!" remus said defensively.
the three boys explained what "remus" had done and what he had said. remus collapsed on his bed, digging his face into his hands. "it wasn't me." he said shakily. james bent down to look at him.
"we believe you, and we're going to find out what happened." he said reassuringly. remus looked at him and gave a weak smile.
how would they solve this?

on the other side of the castle, marina was pacing around the hufflepuff dormitory. laura, hayden, and amelia all watched from their beds.
"i mean, did i do something wrong?" she asked, turning to her friends. "lupin has always been a bitch." laura said, standing up. "i know, i know, but i really though he was getting better." marina sighed.
"well, never trust a boy." amelia muttered. "are you going to talk to peter about this?" laura asked, turning to hayden.
"i plan on giving peter the silent treatment, and i suggest you do the same with sirius." hayden snapped. laura nodded her head, her eyes narrowing.
"i'm just going to the library. need to clear my head." marina said, turning and walked briskly out of the room.
she walked down to the library and found felix sitting there with a book in his hands. "hello." she said. "oh, hey, marina." felix said, setting his book down.
"hey," marina mumbled, sitting down in the seat across from him. "remus is a jerk, you know that, right?" felix said, reaching across the table and gently grabbing her hand.
"yeah, i know that now." marina sighed. "you know, if you need a date, don't forget that i'm single." felix said, winking. marina giggled.
"do you want to go to the ball then? as friends?" he asked, letting go of her hand and standing up, looking down at her dramatically. marina stood up with him.
"yes felix, i would be delighted to go to the ball with you. as friends." marina laughed. "it will be an honor." felix said, bowing.
madam pince threw a book at them with a lazy flick of her wand.
